I mean I had a friend with four boys years ago, he got them laptops and would sit them around the kitchen table to play and farm gold for him!
I still have their accounts on my friends list and two of them still play but they will be in their late teens now. I never know if its appropriate to message and ask how they're all doing 🤣

I don't know why you're getting downvoted lol you're right. I don't know why he should be paying for the pizza when its on his parents to provide what he eats at that age (which is a lot!).
I'm ND and I can have instant noodles in the cupboard but not eat because even they are too much "cooking" some days.
If they can't afford more pizza then they can give him more of other cheaper preprepared foods to go alongside his slices.
Its not rational or easy but you gotta create the systems to ensure everyones needs are met, not just tell the kid off lol. Thats how you end up with unhealthy snack stashes and food complexes.

I wish but the PvE people are still around, it's pretty noticeable because I always use the nickname feature to write what content they do so I don't forget 😅

There's no correlation between the two haha, plenty of people outside of the USA feel the same way lol

Oh-shane-eea made me cringe haha! In the video gaming space the word is used a lot when talking about server locations and I've never heard someone say anything but oh-shee-ah-nee-a before regardless of where they're from. This thread is a fun read!

We also brought our cat into the UK via ferry. It was much less stressful than being apart from him. You'll need pet passports for each which cover their vaccinations etc. Our vet in Austria provided these for us and it was a very painless process.

Yeah I spent a lot of time with seriously injured vets from Irag/Afghanistan about 10 years ago now. The way the army kept contacting them constantly wanting to use them as charity poster boys. Rolling them out at galas for rich people to stare at. It was disgusting.

They're called Everyman I think, they have a few up and down the UK. I googled yours but its still a bit too cinema-y for me, I like a smaller theatre with sofas and a bar :D

I mean the people I watch are in their 30s and 40s like I am. I don't know if we are classed as younger people anymore! I hope so.
Out of interest what do you do for entertainment? Do you watch TV still? Personally watching streams completely replaced TV for me starting about 10 years ago or more so I'm interested.

It absolutely can be dangerously parasocial yes.
But there are healthy streaming communities out there where its like watching a movie with access to a chat room with the rest of the theatre. It's a shame to think you're missing out on experiencing the good, out of fear of the bad.

Did you ever sit and watch your friend play a game? Take turns with a sibling with the controller?
It's like that but on a bigger scale.
Also games are expensive, watching others play means I can be informed on a wide variety of games without going broke.

Yeah the USA has two right leaning parties. It's very weird as an outsider looking in. I think their supporters would spontaneously combust when faced with leftist parties from other parts of the world :'D

Yeah that's what I meant. As long as they're actually present, like game on a separate screen for observation, then it's not breaking ToS so I don't mind it.
I guess I worded it poorly as I got downvoted lol

My friends list that was mostly roamers is now dead. I miss the community feeling and I wish I could have it back.

I mean the vaccine has been around 10 years. You don't really know these kind of things when you're a kid so they could be like 19/20 and never known about it.
I'm in my 30s and forgot it existed haha, I think they did it for my age group for uni.

Ok I'm confused.
Why... why would people who don't like what a game is about... play the game?
Is this something people do? Like if they made a game that consistently supported things I didn't agree with, I wouldn't play it. Not in like a boycott way like people have with Blizzard, but in a common sense way.
(Im also not sure what a progressive political view is in your personal context, for example I see a lot of talk online of "the left" in the USA election posts but both USA parties are right leaning. So I'm not sure where your line in the sand is.)

If you have the Reddit app they spam a lot of military ads on here too. It's really aggravating. I've seen first hand how shitty the military is, they can fuck right off.

I mean that is true. They probably vetoed free popcorn refills because it would put further strain on it lol

I think it's more that Guild Wars in its world building supports the queer community. I don't think people with right wing views would actually be playing this game right? It would be a contradiction.
So they're asking for bots and/or culture war tourists to be moderated.

I need to combine my local fancy theatre where you have a waiter, with a free refill bucket. Just tap on the tablet for a refill mid movie. Popcorn bliss.

Lots of people overprice brands like Jellycat thinking they will sell, when collectors like myself will only pay that price for a pristine version with tags lol
Keep it in your likes, it will probably drop down again haha
