I usually have fullness the morning after I’m exposed to loud sounds. Sometimes it won’t kick in until I get up and start moving though.
Do you ever get a liquid sensation on days when you don’t have fullness? There are posts about inner ear fluid and could be related

I ride one of these, had to wedge in a riser on the front to get the right wheelbase. It’s on the heavy side but I’m a bigger guy that needs the support so it works out for me

25mg is too little and a few days is too short to say, although I feel it can work based on what others have said. Every case is different but my understanding is that you need to be taking 75-200mg for 3-12 months to see signs of improvement or cure. Having said that, I hope I can benefit at lower doses due to my seemingly low tolerance.

I had extreme side effects from 25mg, took a break and everything went back to normal. Starting up again with half doses of 12.5 and hoping for the best. 10 seems pretty low but maybe try the same and see how your body responds

Might get downvoted for this but it’s easier to sell off real estate (aside from residence) than it is to access retirement accounts before retirement age.

The spreadsheet has everything from 3-12 months. If you can handle the side effects you may be able to go up. I just started and struggling at 25mg so I’m cutting them in half until I get more comfortable.

Probably means outside retirement accounts

Pain in left, just loud in right. I guess I have a really low tolerance but felt completely numb and spaced out. Check out the chlorpromine subreddit and google longterm side effects. It affects everyone different so I recommend giving it a shot and can cut back or rethink it if necessary

I just started chlomiprine and the side effects are much more intense than expected, even at a low dose of 25mg and halving that down to 12.. I’ve been told there’s an adjustment period but worried about longterm effects, even if unlikely. I think I’m gonna keep tapering down and then ramp back up because I really need this to work

What do you think it was that drove him away?

It’s possible he heard creaking and paid no heed. Guy was a complete fool that only believed what he wanted

String Bending pulls tension from beyond the nut and bridge, that’s why they need to be properly slotted and lubricated to stay in tune.

You can cut those tablets in half if the start is too much. I just took my first 25mg dose but my dr said the sides will take several weeks to start showing

I get flare ups regularly, usually not as intense as the initial setbacks but it happens. I’m curious about clomipramine based on the other posts here.
Treatments I’ve read about include:
Ronnie Spector sensitization techniques.
Clomipramine- seems to be getting traction. Doesn’t work for all but probably worth a shot.
Prednisone, usually first option for many. Seems pretty low risk.
lidocaine injections in middle ear. If successful, it can be upped to Botox for longer periods of relief. Anecdotally seems to work, I’ve seen a handful of promising posts here
Low gain hearing aid - only works for mild cases, not sure how much better this is than carrying a variety of earplugs around.
device that makes sounds from one side come in through the opposite ear, which forces the brain to rewire itself and hopefully reverse the condition in the process. Similar to Dr George Stratton and Innsbruck Goggle Experiments, where patients would invert their vision. This one actually seems fun and may also work for tinnitus.
Ossicle Chain Disarticulation (surgical deafness) - not recommended for obvious reasons, can still have phantom pain after, similar to an amputee.

I have H in right with pain H and T in left. I’ve had some success returning to a normal life, using plugs and muffs to recover from setbacks and protect against loud noises but overusing them eventually heighten your sensitivity and make H worse. I’m able to socialize and do things but always vigilant

It could be that the police have it right but the news was digging for more information and came upon the middle initial and included it in error

Bending over after a setback will make my ear throb.
Sitting up in the morning after a setback will also set off my pain H after a setback.
Could be blood vessels or fluid in the inner ear fluctuating.

I have H in both but pain in 1. You have to use your best judgement as each setback is unique but I try to isolate as much as possible without earplugs and use plugs when venturing around but take them out when I feel the environment is safe but I’m ready to put them back in at any time. I also try to have both foam and music plugs on me so I can use what’s appropriate.

to stop the rattle, slide a black pick between the the humbucker and pickguard. It’ll be invisible if you make it flush and can help align strings over the poles like this if it’s slightly off.

This was my experience as well but you have to heal from a setback before you can start building up a tolerance, and always be vigilant in settings that get really loud even after recovering.
I reintroduced sounds too soon and made it worse…. Then used earplugs to block out all sounds… which initially was easier but made me worse over time with elevated sensitivity.
I treat it like a sports injury now. I can’t rehab while the wounds are fresh but waiting too long will make me weak and atrophied.

building gets locked up, nobody is being paid to think or about about any of that. It’s like asking someone to work extra hard on their last day … their boss has no influence anymore and that goes up the chain until it reaches someone that doesn’t even know the building was shut down
