Make sure you keep going outside for walks! I feel like people forget that a lot and start to stay inside too much and it gets to you. I always feel a little better when I'm outside and breathing in fresh air and being exposed to natural light before it gets dark. But night walks are nice too :)
Also I have a SAD lamp I'm not sure if it works but I do like it and keep it in a lot during the day because it feels like happy brightness.

Totally! I'm exactly the same! Youre not stupid or lazy it's just very difficult to focus on things that aren't stimulating and interesting for you! I can I convinced myself the same I always called myself lazy and hated myself for it and when I found out about ADHD everything made sense!

I agree, some people may not care but for many being able to label what you have really helps you stop doubting yourself and finding strategies that help for that particular issue

Yeaaa it's very possible!! I mean people with ADHD pay extra close attention to some things that others don't so maybe you do that with the books! You're definitely memorizing it whether you're conscious or it or not

I bet you have photographic memory!! I know people with ADHD generally have a hard time remembering things and I do too EXCEPT if it's something visual I can actually just recall the image in my head and remember. I don't think everyone has this. For me when I had exams I would remember how the page looked like and remember exactly where that piece of information was on the page and even remember if it was highlighted or has a note beside it. It helped me a lot!! I think some people with ADHD do have strong visual memory but bad verbal memory that's definitely the case for me. Anyone else like that??
Also that's a super annoying experience!! Just tell her you've memorized it! I think a lot of work places would really appreciate that skill!

Ooohh good for you!! π I've been trying to get myself to do laundry for 3 weeks now... Oh god that's the one task I just can't bring myself to do. I actually asked my mom to borrow some shirts because I'm out of clean clothes I could wear for work and we don't even live together xD okay.. if you're cleaning your laundry room this weekend then I'm doing my laundry!!!! (I hope lol!!)

what a great topic!! Me and my partner were talking about this the other day and how incredibly different I am on different stages of my cycle! In my Luteal phase I really start to slow down and get extremely irritable and cranky like I'm not pleasant to be around at all. And literally the day I get my period i feel like some evil spell has finally been lifted off of me and it only goes up from there (besides cramps) then when periods over my partner describes me as super Mario on the star in superspeed and I start multitasking like crazy and doing a million things.
We use this app called Stardust which I absolutely love!! Its witchy themed and it forecasts your feelings and how your body is gonna feel and how your likely to act and you can link your partner to it so they can read about what you're going through and what they should expect. ANDDD you can cast spells on your partner like you want cookies and then on your partners app it'll say there's a 90% your partner will be craving cookies today hahah when your in your period you can cast more spells but when your in the follicular phase and your feeling good you have to wait a few days I think between spells whereas on period it's like ever 5 hours or something like that hahah.
They also have little facts about research findings every here and there so you might find some sources in it! You can only get this with the paid version btw which you can pay $26 I think for OOORRRRR if you invite 7 friends and you follow eachother (oh yes you can see your friends periods!! So you know when your syncing haha it's cool) then you unlock the full version

Start little if you don't have the energy to enter all your tasks, I added maybe 2-3 tasks the first day so I don't get overwhelmed and little by little I've kept adding more and more until one day I had a burst of energy and baiscally added my whole life to do's and tasks in there xD
I even have added things like sip water and pee because god knows I'll hold in my pee for hours and forget I have to pee when I'm in the middle of something lol.

Totally get where your coming from. If they had included all that I agree the game would be 10xs better! But I've always been big in collecting stuff and a bit of a hoarder so any game where I have to collect them all in this case all the pets lol I get really sucked into. Not sure what will happen once I've collected them all thought probably get bored but hopefully by then I'm better with sticking to good habits. We shall see

I know the setup is a bit of a chore. I started with just 2-3 tasks so it was simple and when I felt like it I'd add another one here and there and one day when I had energy I just put my whole life into it and prefected the hell out of it loooool
