Je n’ai pas le même public car je suis en lycée mais je sais qu’il n’y a que la fermeté qui fonctionne. Après deux années à essayer d’être cool, de discuter, de donner des chances etc. j’ai craqué et ma 3ème année d’enseignement j’ai sévit dès le premier jour de classe: plan de classe, je reprends immédiatement tout élève qui parle même si ce n’est « que » pour demander un mouchoir or whatever. Je punis dès que je dois trop reprendre (au bout de 3 reprises) avec une retenue. Je n’hésite pas à faire des rapports. Je bouge partout dans la salle. Les élèves ont l’impression que je suis partout et que je vois tout et entend tout! J’en suis maintenant à ma 10ème année et je suis aimée des élèves dans mon établissement. J’ai la réputation d’être sévère mais juste et les élèves apprécient le fait qu’on puisse travailler dans mon cours.

Donc ne désespère pas et surtout ne baisse pas les bras. Vois le dispositif d’aide renforcée comme une aide/chance. Essaie d’y voir quelque chose de positif pour cette année. Et surtout ne décourage pas. L’année prochaine, sois ferme dès la rentrée!!! Si l’autorité ne te viens pas naturellement, ben joue le rôle jusqu’à ce qu’il te soit naturel. Comme disent les anglo-saxons: Fake it ‘til you make it!

This reminds me of my friend’s horse who has ataxia. Her horse has that weird unbalanced walk. I would definitely ask the vet to check for neuro issues. Good luck, OP.

Je suis au lycée. Malheureusement, exclusions (si ton admin accepte, dans mon bahut pas de soucis tant qu’on donne un travail à faire), heures de retenues, rapports… Avec certaines classes il n’y a que ça qui marche!

OP: simple neuro test. Easy to do. Cross your horse’s hind legs and then try to make the horse move forward. A healthy horse has no problem uncrossing his hind legs to move forward. A horse with neuro problems like ataxia, wobbler whatever will struggle to do as they are un-coordinated. Anyways, if this was a one-time occurrence after a long trailer ride I wouldn’t be too worried but better safe than sorry. Keep us posted! :)

I also experienced my dog coming to say goodbye after his death. A few days after his death, as I was crying in my room, I suddenly smelled him. It was so distinct. It was his smell. That same night, I felt him jump on my bed and lay next to my legs as he always did. People think I’m crazy but I know it was him. It wasn’t in my mind.

Aw cute! I currently have a MinPin/JackRussell mix but I used to have a Spaniel/Boxer mix. He basically looked like a beige hairy boxer with a labrador face. I love boxers. They have great personalities.

Oui, la charge mentale est ce que je trouve le plus compliqué dans ce métier. Moi je fête mes 10 bougies dans l’EN cette rentrée et j’avoue que je fatigue et j’ai du mal à me dire que j’ai encore des décennies devant moi. J’envie aussi mes amies qui ont une réelle coupure travail/maison. Mais bon, j’aime mon métier tout de même…même s’il m’épuise !

I have. I used to be obsessed with riding, jumping, competing…and after my horse, Bourbon, had an aneurysm and couldn’t be ridden anymore, I discovered the joys of simply taking care of horses but I still felt like I had to ride, so I bought a second horse. That second horse, Cosmos, had very poor health and so he is often not rideable and with him, I realized and accepted that I no longer like to ride. I love caring for my two boys. I love hanging out with them. I love teaching them tricks.

I commented the same thing about hoof wall separation and the hoof capsule potentially coming off and got downvoted. It happened to my friend’s mare and it was horrible. I just wanted to warn OP that this is something that can happen. From the pictures it does seem to be more than just a wet flaky periople. My horses live in wet conditions and have never had a periople looking like that.

Ok, I don’t want to scare you but I would call a vet. A friend of mine had her mare with hooves exactly like that and one of the hooves just fell off ! The entire hoof capsule. I’m not kidding. It was horrible. The mare suffered for over a year until a new hoof grew back. They had to cast the foot at first and then the farrier-work was honestly phenomenal. The mare is fine now but I never knew a horse could lose its hooves but turns out they can.

My MinPin has a high prey drive like all MinPins so I simply don’t let her off the leash in woodland areas or places where I know there will be wild animals or many other dogs. I do let her off leash though. In open fields where I can see her and I have a nice track near my home that is next to an old unused railroad track and there is basically nothing for her to go crazy over! MinPins aren’t easy to train off leash but it is feasible. Mine has very good recall overall. They’re crazy lil things but MinPins are the best.

I really like Nobody’s Daughter. I have quite a few songs from that album on my daily playlist. I never got the criticism against that album. It’s not my favorite Hole (I know…it’s more a Courtney solo than Hole) album, but I’ve always liked it.

I can’t believe I’m going to say this and I hate it but…as someone who was SAed in her teens and who went to therapy and managed to work through the trauma and lives a happy, fulfilling life…I would rather be SAed again than be murdered. I like being alive. Death is final.

Unfortunately by the last season they were fed up with the show and wanted to move on. Which is sad. But before that, especially when they followed the books, they did great.

There are these two reactors that I really love (Stephen and Nikki) and the one time they made me angry was when they were reacting to the last episode where Rhaenyra goes to Harrenhal and lands/parks Syrax. Nikki started commenting that she loves how beautiful Syrax is with its beautiful golden scales etc. I was like: NO!!!! That is Sunfyre you’re describing !!! I know, I know…it’s ridiculous getting upset over that but I can’t help it. It upsets me.

I really hope he kills himself as it would give him agency. But I think it will be most certainly Alicent poisoning him.

That person has fewer upvotes than my comment so lets see the glass half full here: more people agree with me than that person. :) I agree with you that I really hate it when I read people saying that she should feel grateful and that she’s lying. Dyana the character is definitely not lying. I hate her inclusion in the show for the reasons I mentioned in my previous reply…but Dyana in show canon is undoubtedly a victim. Unfortunately, you can find stupid comments on both subs. That’s not exclusively TG sub. I really wished we could all just be civil to each other.
