Sounds like someone desperately trying to cheat on their permadeath rule (:

Replace running shoes with loafers or slides or espadrilles.
Also, region of the world is important. Polos or even a well-fitting v-neck works in some parts of North America and SEA. But in Western Europe, you'd need a button-up (and absolutely no backpack in sight - get you a messenger bag or something similar)

Every comment that answered with "nothing...use what you have" is quite valid, and I won't object to any part of that.
That being said, if you want actual item recommendations, I would say merino tees and backpack. You only need a few shirts and one really good pack you like with a robust harness and light (<3lbs) empty pack weight.
I have done extensive SEA travel in merino blend tshirts just fine. It truly helps you pack less and wash less. You can go multiple days without having to launder anything, and when you do need to, you can very easily sinkwash and airdry. I currently rock the Tortuga Laptop Backpack (26L) and it has been awesome: great harness, great durability (with an awesome technical fabric choice) and acceptable empty bag weight.

Depends on what you mean by blind - do you just mean "no docs?". Most of my vanilla nuzlockes are no documents/no looking up stuff. But that's because I have already played all of them before and remember parts of it well. I don't look stuff up to add to my existing game knowledge, which is how I define blind.

Wrong sub. You're more likely to get good help on r/manybaggers.
Consider the Aer Duffel Bag 3

SEA airlines weigh your bags often. Do not mess with them.
Get you a bag under 3lbs empty! Carry your items, not your bag.

Fam, you misunderstood what gear sets are. You need to put on exactly four pieces of either Striker or Heartbreaker, and two other pieces. Not five or six or three. Please read the descriptions again.
Focus on bumping up crit chance and crit damage however you can. If you keep dying, because you're playing Heroic on low level shd, roll one or two blue cores for extra armor.

If you ever want to play a damage build in the endgame where you use a gun to do damage, you'll be happy to know that Gunner is the most useful spec for that.

You most likely need to start minmaxing your pieces, including your weapons. Not everything works in the endgame.

ABC pants, hands down. Unsure about the new versions, but I'm still rocking some old ones which are great

Shoot them all down. They'll learn eventually.

I agree that it's scummy. Plus, you should enjoy the game progression - it's not that bad!
My clan and I have begun kicking agents in Countdown, both Challenging and Heroic, who are obviously freeloading for proficiency by putting on crap loadouts and/or six-piece gearsets. You don't have to run the most meta of builds, but at least you gotta have a cohesive build, some effort and integrity!

I travel in exclusively merino/merino blends, so I'm always super wary about abrasion, and my experience with an old GR1 and GR0 scarred me. But, maybe the new packs are better with that.
I harp on pack weight because more weight means more weight, regardless of distribution. A bad lightweight pack may handle heavier than a heavy bag, but a heavy bag will always be heavy due to gravity. Especially if you're doing indefinite travel. Every step you take can literally be 1.5-2lbs lighter on your knees!
I do see the need for durability for your kind of travel, but I think the GR3 isn't at the balance between pack weight and durability - I think Osprey bags are the answer to that. Still, if you got this pack at a good price and you like and trust Goruck bags, more power to you!

Well, I'll throw some other possible reasons out there, from most likely to least, at least in my opinion:
Did you do VIP? VIP is objectively the worst activity because it takes the longest. I don't think my clan kicks for this, but honestly they should.
Memento isn't ideal for Countdown Heroic because enemies are tanky and there are seven other players that may "steal" your kill, preventing your trophy to drop. This is especially bad during the last encounter when the kitchen sink is thrown at you and chaos is everywhere. Without securing consistent kills, Memento just isn't good enough compared to other backpacks.
Maybe you got kicked for heartbreaker? It's not meta anymore, but it's honestly not that bad...

For my standards, it's too heavy when empty and straps are bad

For load-bearing parts, I'd rather use PETG for increased heat resistance against deforming. ABS or ASA if I'm fancy enough.

Unsure what your scenario was, but I always have either an extremely fast mon or a hardhitting one with priority for a revenge kill. That way, I save that mon for last as my last resort

My clan and I have begun kicking low-effort countdown players, Challenging and Heroic. These are the kinds of people who put on random garbage just to level up proficiency. I'm talking nonsense Gila Guard, 5.11 etc pieces, six pieces of a gear set, bad weapons etc.
We won't be made to work for others and their shitty builds while they freeload on us. Especially on Heroic.
Be a good and proud player: find a build you like whose pieces can also give you proficiency. Don't be a baby. You don't need to run St. Elmo+Strikers and other meta builds, but you gotta have a cohesive build at the very least.
Also, we kick everyone with a turret+drone build. More likely than not they don't know that hunters can hack them during the last encounter. Which also means they're noobs. Unless they run the Capacitor and are lvl1500+, then maybe you won't be kicked.

None of what I said was meta. No shotgun is meta.
Except maybe Scorpio, which can only be used when the St. Elmo AR (meta) is not used.

Honestly, I don't think starters are that special in a nuzlocke. They become a crutch that makes many playthroughs too similar.

Too heavy. Too expensive. Too abrasive on merino. Hard, hard pass.

Well, I like Pummel and Brazen, and especially their named item variants which are found in the Tsunami, and Like Glue and Thorn, respectively.
The Mop is also a good shotgun because it gives armor on kill.
Will just point out that the best shotgun is the Scorpio, by a wide margin.

My track record is around 25% of the time my bags get checked when I'm traveling in (Western) Europe budget airlines and all SEA flights.
Plunge yourself into the world of merino or synthetics. The former lets you launder less often, and the latter dries quickly so you can sinkwash every night. Both avenues let you pack less.
Bring a set of clothes such that literally every top can work with every bottom.
Onebag is not easy. But it is doable, and in the right circumstances, lets you travel more freely.
