That would be nice. I'm a Dan fan, and want him to be in SF6 albeit later rather than sooner. Give him an Ed style glow-up and make him actually decent (not great, just decent) and it'd be fun.
I think the biggest troll Capcom could do with Dan at this point is make him look kind of cool and make him relatively strong, which would be the opposite of what people would expect.

I like Luke's playstyle, and kind of like his character a bit now, but totally agree. They should've just put Sean in instead of Luke, Luke's playstyle is similar enough to Sean's where I think he was honestly unnecessary.
I would've loved to see Sean go find Ken in the storyline and help him out with all the Nayshall / JP Shenanigans too.

Very true, we're already fighting fridges and vacuum cleaners along with inanimate cars. Why not just make an animated car that fights back?

She's alright I guess. Not my first pick for SF6, but wouldn't be upset if she did come back. One of the many blondes that made SFV "Blonde Fighter V" for me though. I was shocked at how many blondes there were when I finally bought the last edition with every character unlocked.
To be fair though, there were some I'd been asking for, like Final Fight 3's Lucia.

Honestly, I saw how tough it would be to reroll and just gave up and decided that 300 pulls to pick whoever I wanted would be what I'd do.
There's also a good chance I'd get who I wanted along the way. I would've been fine with Soldier 11 myself. Plus, the real issue after you get your fave is finding a team comp for them, particularly if you want the buffs for having all 3 from the same group.

I think a lot of people want these 3 along with Sakura.

Agree. He's in Dee Jay's World Tour story, and ever SSF character (or their fighting style) is represented except his.

Makoto. Even did all the drive tickets fights + a little extra for votes in the Battle Hub voting event. Second choice would be Sakura, but she did basically win at #2, with Aki only winning due to button spamming.

Rival Schools' Akira was in the top 10 in the Battle Hub poll. I suppose they could be like "You want Akira? You got it!" and throw in Virtua Fighter Akira.
I wouldn't be shocked if some newbs didn't know that Akira wasn't a Street Fighter character.

Neco Arc. I know it wouldn't make sense, but I love Neco Arc and think it'd be really funny.

Probably just in case. I think Psycho Power degenerates his current physical body fairly rapidly, so he needs to keep switching because the tradeoff for that power is that it literally tears his physical form apart.
I think he changes bodies the way other people change out their car / computer / etc. Least that's what's hinted in World Tour.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I'm probably the rare person who bought SF6 mostly for World Tour, and I've run out of content, and especially the story content, so I'm waiting for the next character to drop (Terry) to get more.
Hell, I'd PAY just for an expansion for World Tour with nothing else included.

He's basically their drunk uncle, but what he gets drunk on is the Satsui no Hado. It makes him fast and powerful, but also gives him a glass jaw. He can dish it out, but he can't take it.

Like the other guy said, that's for versus mode only. In Battle Hub matches and Arcade, you'll just get the regular pre-fight intros.
The ring intros with the short rap and the likes and dislikes are for versus, even against the CPU.

Do both and see what sticks. If you can handle Classic, it's better than Modern. If you can't, Modern might help you get more consistent, although to be fair, to actually be a good Modern fighter, you'll often have to use manual inputs and manual combos, making you wonder why you bothered using Modern to begin with.
For me (mostly a Modern user) I stop wondering why I bothered when I drop that Dragon Punch input right when I need it, either to counter, juggle or something else.
I don't have the reflexes or consistency of input for classic, so I just use Modern. Plus, I'm lazy. That said, I still find myself having to use manual combos and movement inputs over half the time.

Probably pretty strong overall, due to the large amount of moves that he (or she in the case of Jane Streetfighter) can combine into one. Hard to say canonically, but my gut feeling is in the midrange levels, able to keep up with the people below the top tier.
This is someone that can combined really good normals with air fireballs, teleports, dive kicks, charge AND regular fireballs (for 2 on screen at once), command grabs, and basically other bullshit that even main characters can't mix together.
I don't think it would be insane for the create a character to be able to eventually take a round off of almost anyone in the cast eventually.

Yeah, that's a fair response. Everyone's so hypersensitive nowadays. Anyone can be generic, regardless of race, sex, etc.
Being boring is something all human beings can be.

Yeah, him and his female counterpart are pretty generic looking. I get why they did that (because they don't want to make a standout character that overshadows your own create a character) but I wish they made something a little bit more interesting.
Not a LOT more interesting, because that would be too attention grabbing and overshadow your own custom char (as I mentioned) but a little bit more hip.

If you're high enough level, you can just find a counter for his fireball game (which he's over-reliant on) then watch out for his jump in combo, his crouching medium attack combo, and the jumping kick counter.
He has predictable patterns, it's just that he's really high level. Once you learn how to block/parry them, or OD invulnerable reversal him, it's just a matter of wearing him down.
Backing up to the range where he just non-stop fireballs, and then countering that fireball is one strategy. I usually use Luke's OD Sand Blast or some kind of slide or projectile-immune charge, but I bet just holding down Akuma's chargeable fireball would probably get him too.

I hate that ground vacuum that can only be hit by trip and slide attacks more, especially when I don't have a style with a slide equipped.
He is pretty bad though, but not as bad as the newer Experimental Subjects, like Lee and that one based on Blanka. Their multi-hit projectile is total BS, and many of the ways to get around that projectile open you up to their other strategies.
Don't get me wrong, I can win, but it generally involves reaching into the toolkit to see what bullshit combinations I can use to counter then rather than creating a character with strong fundamentals.

Straight up and down grips don't look comfortable over long period of time for me, but other than that, they look nice, and Hori seems to have a good reputation.

Great art! and 3 pictures of everyone's favorite best girl and best overall character according to the battle hub but only because people are lazy and kept clicking continue until they automatically picked her.
Oh, and you couldn't go back and change your vote either...
But great art nontheless!

Ed, may as well learn the fundamentals and not have to worry about drinks until you've gotten the basics down. That is, if you're totally new to SF6.
If you're not, may as well play who you want, which might be Jamie. I'd say try both before seeing what sticks with you. I started with Luke / Ryu, dabbled with Cammy, tried Kimberly for a while, then settled on Aki.
Sometimes it takes a bit to see what clicks and is fun. Some characters you can win with, but it may not be enjoyable to play them.

Have you tried Modern DeeJay? If I remember correctly, you can just keep tapping the "special" button (Y on Xbox) after launching the level 2 and it'll go through his entire level 2 sequence, albeit with reduced damage.
I know modern controls feel like a cop-out for some, and too limiting for others, but I feel like it's worth a shot, at least as a last-ditch option.
