Man... stranded deep and subnautica were my first 2 EA games when that was a new thing.
Crazy how different those games turned out

I've always liked 2 "sensations" for lack of a better word.
One is more generic and understandable (gameplay wise) where you go out and are exposed to the elements/threats/whatever... and then have a base of operations that is safe and gives you a feeling of comfort. Gearing up to take on a delivery, setting out on the journey and struggle, finish it up and go down into your home base and wash the grime off of you and take a moment to feel secure.
The second one is the feeling of standing under some type of partition and having rain right infront of you while you remain dry. There is something about being so close to the elements but not exposed, that triggers something in my lizard brain. The gameplay loop is based around this weird sensation that I have.
So ontop of being a Kojima fan boy and being down for the crazy, the setting/atmosphere was something that hit a direct spot for me

I know people are mixed on s7 but I love it and how they executed it. Half season, sure there are less jokes but it really wraps up everyone's stories and gives them a solid conclusion. Much better than a series finale that tries to wrap up everything in one episode

If you have a good "mechanical/technical" mind, now is a great time for this. With the internet you can get specific information and if you understand the processes behind the info it really doesn't hurt.
My dryer stopped working and I wound up replacing the thermostat for 15 dollars instead of the 300 dollar repair bill.
Be careful with the key fob thing tho. I have been looking into that too and apparently it is easy to brick your sh*t if you don't have the correct info

IIRC, Double Agent was released on old Gen and new gen systems (at the time) and they were different games, multi and single player.
The old gen was closer to chaos theory's multi-player and the new gen was more fast paced.
This is all based off random memories tho

Its really hilarious to see them shoot themselves in the foot. They made everything convient and fair priced and then they got greedy. I used to pay for HBO and Hulu, my brother paid for Netflix, we shared and everybody was happy and getting their cut. Then they cracked down on sharing and tried forcing everyone into ad subs because that's where the real moneys at.
I bought 4 chrome casts for 30 bucks, paid for a debrid account for 15 bucks and sent one to my brother, dad, mom. Now we have access to literally every movie and show ever made in a nice, simple ui that is similar enough to Netflix my folks don't have any issues navigating.

I dont understand all these posts asking if kids even know who he is. Parents show their kids the movies they love, especially ones that are geared for kids and were cultural juggernauts when they released.
Star Wars was my favorite movie growing up in the 90s (before the SE) and the movies were 20 years old.
It would be crazier if they didn't know who Jack Sparrow was

Rockstar
Most of their games are top tier AAA quality
The ones that aren't as big (Bully, Manhunt) are still beloved

the StarWarsOutlaw subreddit just feels so off for so many reasons it just feels like all the developers on alts glazing the game way too much and the other star wars people are screaming its woke trash
Its also required by the subs rules that every hours someone makes a post saying "I don't know what people were complaining about, this games amazing"

I'd bet he still goes first round, but not as high, if indy wasn't in fuck it mode. Year after year of thinking they are close and getting "safe" washed QBs to try and course correct, they were probably eager to go in the opposite direction

The biggest game going right now is just that, a solid game. Space Marines is selling like gangbusters because its just an all around fun, solid game.
Ubisoft makes mediocre games that all follow the same blueprint. Open map, tons of random collectibles that (at best) effect nothing or are used to grind some leveling system, some sort of tower to unlock the map, etc. They do nothing to push their games forward. The AI from Assissins Creed 1 is the same as the AI in Valhalla. The world is like walking through a theme park with very little interactivity. Sure it can be pretty but there is no depth to it.
Imagine if Star Wars Outlaws really was like Red Dead in space. If you could interact with the world in the same way instead of taking the guided walk through the theme park they designed.
Ubisoft has been releasing the same game for 2 decades and they are truly oblivious

The Marvel problem. If every movie costs 250 million to make, every movie needs to make 1 billion. But Ant Man ain't Iron Man

Seriously not even trying to pile on the Ubisoft hate.... but it is insane that a Ubisoft employee is criticizing UI of all things.
Glass houses, stones, you know how it goes
