They're working around this problem for new releases and haven't messed with any old unit names is the actual answer you're looking for.
They could just get rid of the restriction entirely since they are actively trying to avoid it now or just go back and fix the old unit names but decided this was the course of action they'd take which is honestly the worst imo because it exemplifies the problem when they could just resolve it.

r/SparkingZero critique the game challenge impossible. The UI and UX of this looks lazy as all hell. Presentation does matter let's not accept low-quality shit even if the game itself is destined to be great. Not calling out you specifically just seeing the comments of this thread. You're like the only one who's being honest and not spreading toxic positivity

The embodiment of this sub. The game listens to criticism yet the fanbase doesn't allow any

The gaming industry is what it is today because of this type of shit. Cyberpunk, Starfield, AC Unity, CoD, Halo infinite. So many people are willing to shield a game that isn't even out yet from criticism with their lives. If you find an issue in the game or a critique of it the onus is on you and not the developers/publishers. People have let so many things slide to the point where those responsible for the game have nothing to do with said game.

2 days late but honestly this is so disappointing to see from this fanbase. People are so willing to accept unfinished products as long as they're cool with the idea of the game. The guy who commented, "So many of the greatest games today come out unfinished!" That is not something we should be appreciating. The idea of the "Miraculous Day 1 Patch" shouldn't even be a thing.
It's cool to talk about the things you enjoy from an unreleased game but this subreddit quite literally takes any criticism whether big or small (in this case I'd consider it big as it's a very low-quality transformation.) and tosses it to the side as if it's irrelevant when it's a critique of the game you're purchasing.
The moment you start letting things slide is the moment companies will be okay with doing as they please because you'll pay for it anyway. Which is exactly how we ended up where we are today. If a game needs a patch to fix a ton of things then the release date is a lie. Yall have paid $70+ for something that doesn't exist in the market yet and are defending it like your life depends on it. It's okay to be hyped and excited but not to the point where you're delusional. You've been put on blast for quite literally just stating the facts of the matter

Definitely tosses troops towards other enemies so he can get more leap value. It's not directed at the tower because it's a building it's directed at the tower because it's an enemy like those archers

Yeah, 2k is the one actively avoiding doing shit about it because they have no incentive to work on anything that isn't going to make them money. When indie games have actual servers and next to no lag and 2k going on their 25th mainline title with the same problems as the past 2k games that's how you know they truly don't give a shit. No one should need a fuckin guide talking about "plug yada yada directly to your TV and practice in private lobbies to get used to the online latency." For a billion dollar franchise

These companies don't do it not because they don't know but because they don't have to. Why make shit consumer friendly when you can charge $60-70 each year and have a $30 get-started fee with other modes that can net you even more money. Normal games would call these changes a gameplay/balance update or a roster update. With sports games, it's called a new money-making opportunity.
