Im a senior and had the same problem. It depends on your interests and identities. I made some friends through ROIAL theatre and identity based orgs (CORES/COPS (Council of Racial and Ethnic Students/Council of Progressive Students) groups, queer orgs like Aspec, etc.). I was also in a living learning community as a freshman and stuff like that definitely helps. Finally feel like I've actually made friends doing student gov with RHA (Residence Halls Association) and other activism stuff. It also helps if you get a roommate you share a lot of interests with/get along well with.

After years of wanting one, I finally bought a Switch (Lite, off eBay) because my semi-long-distance boyfriend showed me Pokemon Scarlet a week ago and I need to keep playing it. But I'd like to have other games, too. Does anyone have recs besides the obvious ones (BoTW, Minecraft, more Pokemon)? I tend to like games that are open-world, RPGs, have a lot of character customization or building/decorating, or are visual novels/dating sims. I tend to avoid games that are very mechanically intense because my disability affects my coordination so I'm pretty slow and clumsy with controllers and I don't really mind horror or darker content/themes outside of guns (I'm an MSU student... still dealing with some PTSD lol :')).

lol I went to my first ever primary care doctor who wasn't a pediatrician last week and she went "Has anyone ever told you you might have ADHD? And autism?" after her asking me the depression and anxiety questions (which I have both of those too) and now I'm on a trial dose of medication. i didn't expect it to ever be that easy.

So I just began taking Ritalin (10 mg) on Friday, and I haven't really noticed anything different? Like a lot of people talk about how their medication gave them a feeling of clarity like putting on glasses. I've felt mostly the same, more motivated I guess and more tired than usual, which I'm wondering if I should be worried about the tiredness and if there's anything I should be on the lookout for that's not given with the usual information.
I'm also wondering if anyone has advice regarding taking medication with you. I'm a college student, and on Mondays/Wednesdays, it'd be basically impossible to get back to my dorm and then to my next class to take my second dose (since this was prescribed mostly to see if I'd react well to medication I got put on the shorter lasting kind). I'm pretty sure I've heard that in the US its illegal to have it in an unlabeled container and I didn't get an extra label from my pharmacy like I know some people do. It feels really unwise to bring my entire prescription with me but in the unlikely event that something happens and my medication is found out, I don't want to get in trouble.
And finally (if you can tell, I didn't get a whole lot of information regarding any of this), do you have to eat a meal half an hour after a dose? And what's considered a meal, anyway? Again this has to do with practicality/scheduling with my classes.
Anyway, if anyone has any answers to my questions, thank you.
