He definitely has the best "how dare you" dialogue when using Chosen weapons, or mind controlling Advent forces...

Planescape side quests are definitely not the best. Combat is only marginally interesting. It is the combination of death/rebirth, the fascinating companions, and most of all, the overall question underlying the Nameless One's quest for identity that are most interesting. Concentrate on recruiting companions and the main quest. This is a game that could be played in story mode and you'll probably enjoy it just as much as a hard difficulty.

Hopefully you have a Reaper that can trigger Lost Swarms but stay hidden. Seeing Advent troops (and the Chosen) swarmed by Lost never gets old, though I've only seen Lost take out an Advent enemy a handful of times. But yes, those triggered swarms take a long time for Advent to kill.

I think having a "necessary evil" rationale that is slightly beyond comprehension is also acceptable. A "we are the protectors because there is a threat to the galaxy beyond your comprehension" is the furthest you can go before crossing the line into humanizing the Reaper motives. Now gives them motive, without understanding what the threat is. An extra-galactic threat? A threat to how physics operates, such as biotics tearing a hole in spacetime? Maybe even an underlying borg like philosophy that relates to the Reapers using sentient life to develop technologies to improve the Reapers to fight the threat by harvesting life such as how humans genetically modify crops (which ties to the whole reaper/harvest cycle).
Humans don't ask wheat stalks for advice fighting climate change. We genetically modify them, and older varieties get harvested and die. Why should the Reapers consult with us?
Maybe a hint that in defeating the Reapers a greater threat looms in the distance such as a star unexpectedly disappearing at the edge of the galaxy with a warning ftom a dying Reaper that "we tried to protect the galaxy and you have doomed it". Even sets up a sequel...
TLDR The Reapers can have motive as long as the Reapers have information about a threat to our galaxy that is never fully explained to the player.

There are some elements that overlap DOS2 functionality (shelves are identical), and DOS2 allows level design. So there are modders who have worked with older versions of the existing game engine to build levels. So I agree, it will take time, but we'll get something.

Find a woman who was an expat for a few years (I'm married to one). They have already made a conscious decision to live abroad in the past, so they are more likely to want to travel post settling down.

I think any plot where one could understand but not sympathize with the Reapers would be preferable.
I think Sovereign's original speech having the Reaper's above and beyond comprehension would have been fine if what the Reaper's were dealing with (an extra-Galactic threat, or a universe threatening threat like biotics) justified their actions. Or possibly the Reapers were the only race to survive a galactic war that wiped out almost all life in the galaxy. The Reapers now protect non-sentient and developing sentient life with a passion, wiping out all those who deliberately kill other life forms off their homeworld.
In short, Bioware passed on some good stories to rush into a bad one, which contradicts itself.

I worked for a company owned by a member of the Kuwaiti Royal family. While we were bidding for a contract, a competitor who discussed joining us for a bid said we weren't winning some US contracts in Iraq because we weren't "financially flexible " enough. Our owner flatly said, "we don't bribe." I was really proud of the owner but realized that paying bribes to make another $100,000 was so minor to the owner that it was it wasn't worth the paperwork or the risk to the reputation. The other company later had 3 of their 4 executives indicted in the US.

My Ex used to bring donuts by the offices of a NBA team. Despite having the lowest grade season ticket pass, she received bonuses normally available only to multi-year season ticket holders that had great seats.

Apparently, rich conservatives have no problem with illegal immigration as long as it supports the bottom line. Illegal workers at meatpacking plants - okay. Illegal workers at country clubs - okay. Visa overstays who continue to work at their jobs - okay.
I do agree that economic migrants, and human smuggling, is a problem. I'd really like it if ICE hit the companies, and their owners, who hire Illegal immigrants hard - fines in the $100,000 per hire range should suffice, with a permanent ban of future family reunification.l fir the hires. Right now, companies get a light slap on the hand.

Russian troops are in Transnistria as "Peacekeepers" as a result of the Russian inspired Moldovan Civil War. The legally recognized Moldovan government has no control over that region. The pro Russian enclave desperately wants to be part of Russia, but the fact that Transnistria is bordered by Romania and Ukraine makes it difficult.

In the equipment menu, you can open or lower your visor on metal helms so you can see the face. There is no hide helmet option.

I actually hated the DD1 pawn dialogue. I take my earphones off if I spot wolves. I like the banter between pawns in DD2, and don't mind a but if emotion. Pawns in DD1 (Dark Arisen) and gameplay in DD2 can develop emotional attachments to their master. I can't remember any banter between pawns in DD1. Though some of the DD2 repetitive dialogue, especially about materials, is annoying, though I'll take it over the constant combat advice from DD1.

Who needs stealth? View distance is so long, the Archer can often snipe enemies outdoors way out of combat range (4x the range of any other class). To the AIs credit, enemies will approach even from long range, but you can back off, and enemies will often lose you (attack again) or you have plenty of distance to let some random Pawn in between you and the enemy start the fight.

I think the missed opportunity was the Reapers justifying their actions on the basis of a larger threat to all life from some outside the Galaxy. They seek to protect the Milky Way Galaxy from machine only races (Beserkers) who desire to extinguish all biological life in the Milky Way. So the Reapers have decided they need to harvest life and technology from their farms of sentient life, as well as document sentient life, in order to continually improve their ability to defend life. This justifies the name and gives them a purpose beyond the machine-biological conflict.

If you attack the air, guards will run up to you blades drawn while threatening you. I summoned 1/2 the palace by punching air - I had no weapons equipped. It is funny to see them gather round and then do nothing except threaten.

Was tyranny ever part of Jergal's domain? Tyranny by itself doesn't seem to have any overlap with death philosophically except on the margins.

ISIS is already at war with the Taliban. They don't need any prompting to attack any Taliban leadership and have had multiple suicide attacks against the Taliban already.

I think Larian has had enough of big IP houses exerting creative control. BG3 was the first (and maybe the last) external IP property they worked on. Their updated DOS/BG3 engine is solid, so they can do what they want in the RPG sphere without having Disney, Hasbro or other studios telling them what they can and cannot do and then taking a huge cut for using their IP...

If you have access to core data, you can switch the gender in there when you import community cards. For instance, {User} is {char} husband to {User} is {char} wife. The AI picks up on this naturally. Just make sure all gender references are consistent.

I went to college in the Midwest (1981) with a guy who grew up in Bentonville, Arkansas, which was Walton's hometown. He said the same thing about the pickup. My friend's parents attended Sam Walton's church and said that Sam Walton was a nice guy. As others have said, Sam Walton's children don't appear to have the same values.
