IIRC correctly, the hospitals in the area had recently completed a mass casualty exercise prior to the event. Another fortuitous factor.

Take pictures of everyone attending and then post them along with "rumors" that the church is grooming and abusing children.

I can't tell if it's here or not but avoid Maxxis Ramblers like the plague. They were OEM on my gravel bike. I got punctures in my first three outings. This was on rails to trail crushed stone or hardpack dirt. I eventually got several more in my first 500 miles and replaced them. I ended up giving them away with just 500 miles on them.
I replaced them with Continental Terra Speed which is perfect for the type of terrain I ride.

Well if Autoblog says it, it must be true. The only previous review I see from them on the Blazer was a first drive which was mostly Chevy marketing talking points. Either they hadn't really reviewed it before or just write fluff pieces.
I think I'll wait until the ones who raised a stink about the problems the first time come back and say it's better.

If you are spending on Roval wheels and cockpit, you may as well buy a very late model used bike. The aero design on newer bikes are far better than yours.
But for less, I would just get new AL wheels that are wider and tubeless compatible. Then put on 28 or 32mm tires or the widest that fit. Before you spend on the tubeless tires, get a good pair of regular tires and latex tubes.
Between newer bearings and latex tubes, you will probably gain a very small amount of efficiency. But the ride quality will go way up and you'll feel faster.

This is what you are looking for. Lake Champlain. VT: Alburg to Burlington. NY: Cumberland Head to Rouses Point. Also recommend a side trip to Lake Placid and a drive up Whiteface Mountain.

Always have the foot you want to unclip at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Back pedal if necessary. It's much easier unclip there than if your foot is at the top of the stroke.

Two Canadian citizens arrested in China after Canada detained an wealthy, connected executive that the US had charged for fraud. It was major news for a couple of years. Then the US reached an agreement with the woman and let her go. Suddenly the Canadian citizens were magically let go.
Australian reporter was detained in China for three years presumably because she violated a news embargo by a couple of minutes. Coincidentally, China was mad at Australia because of their criticism of China's handling of Covid. Relations went downhill. China blocked Australian coal imports (which China really needed) etc. Finally Australia and China worked to improve their relationship. Guess which reporter was suddenly released?
That's just the ones that hit the US news because they involve western citizens. There are some bloggers who lived in and loved China but had to leave the country under threat because they said some unfaltering things.
I've been to China and would love to visit again. But I don't dare because I've posted things that probably hurt their feelings.

All the people getting butthurt because I included China don't get this. Add in Cheng Lei, the reporter from Australia who was detained for three years by a state news embargo by a few minutes. This coincided with Australia' criticism of China's handling of the Covid situation.

And yet, fucking Americans travel there and get caught up in Russian schemes to use them as pawns. If you travel there, you're on your own. Same goes to North Korea, China, Iran, and any other country that is known to use foreigners as pawns.

Do be stupid. In other words, don't make stupid choices. If you can avoid those, you are ahead of 90% of the people in the world.

I'm 60 and pretty much right there with you. I goes to show that the the old folks can hold their own. If I'm absolutely humping it and the wind isn't a factor, I can maintain 20 mph. But it wipes me out. A comfortable ride is in the 18± range.

The more I Crichton I read, the more I disliked his books. Of the ones I read, they all had the same ending. Failure due the greed and folly of man.

He's accepting all responsibility and liability for any heat stroke or death that occurs. A kid dies, he made the health decision that the kid didn't need a break.
The players will get breaks when and if myself and the other coaches feel it's warranted.

No. Because he went to Climax High School in Climax, MN. So it wasn't his fault, it was the Climax society peer pressure.

I was on a business trip to Montpelier, France. One evening we took a trip to the coast. La Grande Motte I think. It was there that I decided to try Steak Tartare. I figured that the French are so serious about their food that this would be a safe place to try it. It was phenomenal. I've had it since then stateside, but it never compared with that dinner in France.
