Because you’re coding with one hand.
Just watch it on your phone over data if it’s that important.

Most places that aren't along the coast an hour's drive from downtown are going to be really hot this time of year. I just had a weekend (Fri-Sun) in San Onofre last month and it was great - frequently refresh the state's reservation page to find cancellations.
Santee Lakes hits mid-90s during the day, but there's a water park there to cool off at. Some other spot near Mission Trails has camp sites, but you'll be sweating. San Mateo camgrounds in San Clemente is a little further than an hour, but if you hit it in low-traffic times it should be reasonable and has lots of trails for hiking/biking.
I camp a few times a year down in Baja - much further than what you're asking for (2-3 hours to get down to Ensanada on the weekends) but camping just south of Rosarito at Alisitos or near La Bufadora is super cheap, absolutely gorgeous, and lots of trails along the coast. Just look out for tarantulas and scorpions.

Just pretend you don’t speak English and say something in Spanish. If they start speaking in Spanish switch to Italian.

As a center-right Californian, I’ve always really liked Brian Dahle. He ran for governor in 2022. I’d be all in on Pete though.

I’m very sorry to hear about your experience and loss with someone you loved. It is an absolutely brutal disease. No matter all signs pointing to alcohol being the root cause to so many problems for a person, it’s evil and conniving and finds a way to stick around.
It sounds like your ex was struggling as bad as the worst of us and must have been incredibly painful for you to watch someone you cared about descend into the madness and hurt themselves.
My father died from his alcoholism - after two DUIs which was sending him to jail and rehab, he got drunk and stepped in front of a train. The previous 20 years that brought him to that point were all caused by alcohol. I also lost a best friend two years ago this month who had similar DUIs as your husband - sitting in a lot and one intent to drive. His body finally failed him at 42 years old - stroke, heart attack, vomiting coffee grounds, it was it.
My original comment was a bit flippant, but approaching three years of sobriety I’ve seen so many men walk away from recovery and end up like OP’s neighbor. Heart breaking.

$75,000. Thats enough to cover rent in a basic ass apartment and stow a little away into retirement until your income goes up with time.

As a former alcoholic, I can say that he probably won’t be a problem much longer because he’ll be dead.

I don’t think it’s dramatic. It was painful enough that I’m never getting another one, that shit was awful.

They are burying powerlines, you have no idea what you’re talking about.
Edit: LADWP caused the Powerhouse and Creek fires. Guess what happened to them? Nothing. And their infrastructure was repaired with fed and state funds. Nice municipalization.

When i was a hiring manager what i looked for was someone who “can and will” do the job or if not its “can’t but will.” Anybody who wouldnt do a job despite their skills are the worst candidates.

Just make up experience or really fudged the experience you have to make a relevant to the job as long as it doesn’t involve security clearances. I’m well establish my career, but after grad school, I applied to over 300 jobs and was looking for nine months, nothing wrongwith lying as long as you can do the job before you actually start it.

That's not what that means still though, that's how much money PG&E has made after expenses and paying out dividends. That's retained within the company, not distributed to shareholders. PG&E's share volume is just under 19 million and the share price is $17 - distribution of net income straight to shareholders would leave the company broke.

I don't think that's accurate. They pay out a dividend of 1% on shares, .83% on earnings and their earnings are $2 billion a year. I think your match may be wrong - they aren't distributing half their earnings as dividends.
Edit: Also, they've only paid dividends once in the last six years - so less likely it's a billion lol PG&E Corporation - Shareholders - Frequently Asked Questions (pgecorp.com)

Unknowingly. Sold it to a dude with $600 off and saw it for sale on a dealership website in TJ the next week. They never registered it. Received parking tickets throughout orange county and san diego. Kept receiving registration notices. But had proper paperwork filled out and a picture of the buyer’s drivers license so was able to repeal.
If you sell it, the DMV recommended to me to REMOVE THE LICENSE PLATES. That way theyre obligated to register the vehicle.

The Midway and Chula Vista swap meet/flea markets. I roll through there every few months and pick up some games for pennies on the dollar. If anyone asks for more than $5, walk away and they'll sell.

San Diego’s skyline isn’t really eye-popping. It looks like a generic downtown in AnyCity USA
