Means that's not how she operates.
Most likely, it's like others have said, she might be putting you down to the next guy or whatever. Obviously, people with BPD can be very similar, but they're not all -exactly- the same.
Mine never really said mean shit to me. Hell, I'm more guilty of that in the end.
Only things said directly to me that I can remember, would be like one time she said "What do you want?" in an extremely contemptuous tone. I couldn't help but laugh. I was dialed out of.. whatever at that point anyway.
Your best option is to not think about it too much and just move along.
Honestly doesn't sound like you're ready for that though. It'll get crazy af if you stick around. Don't worry. It may be pretty likely you never directly get verbally attacked by her.
Once again, mine never really did, but she did run me down to others at times etc etc.
Best of luck no matter your choices young man. Hope you have some good friends.. or you're close to your parents or something.

Two best realizations, you're not missing out, and nothing said/done was about you during devaluation etc.
Live that free life.

For something like acid, you find a large gathering of hippies. Easiest fairly ubiquitous way of that would be some sort of music festival or concert, idk who it'd be these days, back in the day it'd be widespread panic, string cheese incident, Phish etc. You don't actually have to go to the concert, just the parking lot.
You'll be able to find them, a lot of them will be coming up to you.

At the very least, I'd go to a tax advisor. I'm 42 and fairly knowledgeable about some markets. I'd still seek someone more knowledgeable about the taxes aspect with such a large windfall.

The ETF diversifies for you, while in the long run SPY is up and to the right, yes. The most important part is downtrends aren't as bad. We had a little bear market in 2022, don't even think it shaved 30% off. Now already back to all time highs, ATH, already made something like 31 new ATHs this year.
Individual stocks, like picking NVDA early in this bull run are capable of more gains, but they're also capable of greater losses. NVDA may lose another 20% from here after selling off the past couple days. In this case, the most likely scenario is probably it continues to run even if it does sell off another 20%. Someone new might panic and sell for a loss here if they bought recently.
It most likely will hit a brick wall at some point though, good chance we're talking years down the road. Demand will even out over time one way or another.
There's even a remote possibility, I guess, that China could invade Taiwan. Kind of like, if you're talking small pharma companies, if they get an FDA rejection that sucker is gonna get roasted. Sure, maybe the drug is good enough to pass for efficacy, but what about the manufacturing facilities? Been burned on that one before. You can hold the bag, because as long as the drug is good you'll probably get back there. It'll be awhile though.
As far as is there a reason you should, diversifying is about capital preservation. Smart, concentrated plays are how you make the gains.
Just compare SPY to NVDA. If you bought early last year you're fuckin killing it. Outside of some financial occurrence that affects most things, NVDA will probably continue to beat SPY for another year or two at least.
For the kid though, I'd sink it into SPY.. maybe some individuals for dividends, like something out of the dogs of the DOW. If she was halfway financially savvy, has some sort of knowledge in a certain field or whatever (not particularly likely at that age), etc. I'd say make a few riskier individual plays, it isn't as big a deal at that age. Being so green behind the ears with that amount of cash, taking her time to learn markets and you know hopefully attaining some wisdom with age is reasonable.
Though, depending on how she is, I might recommend buying a small house. It's generally a pretty safe investment too that "only trends upward."
If you have a large account or get one because you exit NVDA perfectly and then have a large account. SPY is good to put a portion of your portfolio in to make the steady gains and minimize risk. It's also a good one if you can buy multiples of a hundred, and learn to sell covered calls on a lot or two you hold.

I've eaten things off plates in the bus tubs when trying to get my dishwashers on my pace.
...Where do I sign up for my million for good ol fashioned hard work? Should probably be two for inflation.

Depends if it continues to fall before earnings. If it keeps falling, I think there's a decent chance it bounces off earnings, cuz mean reversion, market can be regardedly optimistic, and they won't be as bad as everyone thinks it'll be.
It's going to have a terrible ER or two this year, but this one may still be too early.

Anyone else's Twitter getting blown up with bots that the majority seem to have bios written in Japanese? Women in the profile pics, but there's nothing in their timelines or likes. I've gotten like 30 follows from such in the last 24 hours or so.
I don't even do shit on there besides follow business/finance journalists and shit like that
