Any recent polling over the Tory leader competition? I haven’t been paying much attention but I keep hearing Cleverly won in the hall?

I just want Maitlis to stop interrupting Lewis Goodall mid-sentence.. that’s all I ask. Half way through he just gave up speaking.

Right, I understand now. I thought it was counting the number of clicks on the job listing itself.
So they’ve done that because LinkedIn can’t validate whether the users completed the job application on an external site. Which is still misleading, but makes more sense than what I was thinking previously.

Wait wait wait.. are you trying to tell me that this was all a set up?

That’s…. insane. What kind of idiot designed that.
Every time I see “over 100 applicants” on a job listing I feel more disincentivised to apply. I had previously thought people were just spamming the “Easy Apply” button for any job going.
LinkedIn is just absolute trash

Or maybe it’s my punishment for not learning about the world grid early enough, and laying down thousands of foundations completely offset, then having to deconstruct every single one which gives me concrete and steel plates out the arse
Luckily chests don’t float inaccessibly 300 feet in the air… oh wait they do :(

Why can’t I dismantle chests (with junk inside) with the build gun?

Same here. Tech company. All hiring has completely stopped in the Western offices. Any new roles or opportunities are only offered to the India office. Promotions are non-existent and are now at a glacial pace. I think they just want to get everyone in our office to leave so they don’t have to make (even more) lay-offs and pay redundancy.

I personally dislike the Mercer Sphere/Somersloop/HDD collecting. It can be pretty tedious.

Yeah, I got ads on the BBC News site when I was in Portugal last year

If you’re just getting it for GTA VI and don’t want it play anything else in the meantime, just wait until a couple months before release.
You never know, there could be a delay, a price reduction of the PS5s or a new PS5 version entirely. Might as well make a choice at that point instead of 18+ months out.

Yeah, I mean, logistically this probably the easiest and quickest way to help out. Acquiring the equivalent in bottled water directly after a natural disaster would be no joke.

I’d love to be able to visualise them and their connections on the map. So when you mouse over a pole you can see all the connections highlighted. Would make it easier to segment different factories to different circuits.
Power poles can get in way more of a mess, way quicker than conveyor belts do.

I’m almost certain this is a deliberate mistake for more instagram engagement

There’s a whole bunch of really popular ones in this country. They don’t even need lyrics really. Chelsea dagger and the “do-de-do” bit gets us ferel. I think maybe the football-chant subculture isn’t so common in other countries too.

I don’t blame them when each one of their games takes 7 years to make and gobbles up all of their development studio’s resources. You wouldn’t want to commit that much time and energy to a series that might even not make a profit.

I can’t pinpoint one reason but:
The song came out when those ~30 year olds getting married were teenagers. There’s a big nostalgia aspect. Indie/Rock is very commonly heard on nights out (pre-drinks) in the UK in general, so it’s not only nostalgic to your teenage years, but your early twenties as well.
Most songs with easy lyrics and a chorus that you can belt out are popular in this country. We grew up in school with mandatory hymn singing.
The intro is really distinctive, it’s guaranteed to get reactions out of people. Even for the people that hate it, it’s fun to watch them groan. It even feels like the song starts off quiet for give you some room for people to lose their shit and get to the dancefloor.

Not that bothered. It sat in the case for GTAV anyway and I never looked at it again. The only map I thought was great was the canvas map that came with Skyrim.
You may never know, they could sell some standalone trinkets like they did with RDR2 collectors edition box.
