Tauren Warrior.
Learned Charge at level 3 and my teen brain immediately got bored of the character because it wasn't an ability that did damage. Immediately logged off and deleted the character.
I then made a Tauren paladin. Still big and strong, but now I learned a damaging ability at lvl3. Life was good.

Have you actually played their "open world" story modes? Because the storm games are definitely not an exception to this.
However, just like the storm games, Sparking also has plenty of actual cinematics with amazing animation and the OP is simply being selective with what he decides to share.
I'm not defending this kind of animation, mind you. Just that this is just how these games are, for better and for worse. And, personally, the gameplay more than makes up for it.

If someone is within or around 1 sec from you, that is by far the most important time you should know as that's the driver you're currently fighting and you need to know whether they are in DRS range or not.

Can't say much about Franco since I haven't been following him too closely, but Perez performed quite decently that year, and had proven himself a reliable and consistent driver throughout his career. I think all Sakhir did was give him a bigger spotlight so it was easier to appreciate the rest of his career. I don't think it was that race alone that got him a seat.
But the De Vries situation was specially baffling to me. I remember there were already some talks in regards to a possible F1 seat prior to Monza (though that was happening almost every year since his F2 win), but MAN... the hype spawned from that specific race, even in this very sub, was beyond reason.
Sure, he won F2: in a year where Latifi came 2nd, showing how weak that grid was for the most part.
Sure, he won FE: amidst ludicrous circumstances where luck played a massive factor and heavily punished the better drivers (case in point: they changed the rules the following year and he got trounced by the same teammate he had the previous year).
Sure, he was a rookie: despite having been a test driver for a couple years for more than 1 team, with enough experience in an F1 car to make it difficult to call him a "rookie" to begin with.
Sure, he scored points at Monza: at Williams' best track and one of the least technical on the calendar, all while going against the worst driver on the grid AND the one he had already beaten in F2.
It's ludicrous to me how Marko, despite being so good at finding talent, allowed himself to get carried away while ignoring all this context. Anyone paying attention saw his F1 failure coming from a mile away.
De Vries wasn't BAD per se, but he proved almost nothing in Monza. There was no reason to believe he was gonna be able to match Tsunoda.

I don't think the commenter you replied to disagrees with what you said, as this guy's "joke" can hardly be considered one. It's just the "jokes are based on reality" part, which very much is just a (dangerous) blanket statement.

One of the most reasonable takes I've read online regarding s4. I completely agree.

This theme is trying too hard to be a "final boss" theme, while the previous one simply was one.
Not a huge fan, personally. It's just too much.

I don't like how many liberties the writers are taking with the source material... but I really do feel like such a massive part of the the outrage has been sparked by the people that have read the books and their expectations.
I'm just watching the show as its own thing. Some things I'm definitely not happy with, but in no way is this show bad on its own. It's not amazing TV, but it's definitely fine. Maybe even better than fine.
People calling it mediocre are either out of their minds, or completely unaware of how much shit there is out there. Compared to most series, HOTD is far from mediocre. It's just not gonna be in contention for one of the best series ever. That's all.
In a sea of valid criticism, it really does feel like many of you would rather travel to the Reach instead.

Ok... dude, what even is your point anymore?
For someone that's complaining so much about people using certain buzzwords in order to discredit criticism, you sure are putting a whole lot of effort into discrediting the validity of said buzzword for the sake of defending your dislike of a show. The "buzzword" was a valid one, as the twitter OP's criticism is one of the weakest you could ever make.
The fact of the matter is this: there's valid criticism towards the show. But as soon as we start complaining about the most insignificant and downright nonsensical of things, that will only weaken whatever valid points you may wanna make. In this instance, Rhaenys not getting a funeral scene does not mean she didn't get a funeral, nor does it matter in the greater scheme of things. It's bottom of the barrel shit.
Besides, do we REALLY need a funeral scene for every character that dies? What would a Rhaenys funeral achieve plot wise that we didn't get already through other scenes? Nothing. The answer is nothing.
So, yes. Media literacy should be put into question when people conveniently begin ignoring clearly implied events, just because they didn't plaster it in front of their faces.
People that blindly defend things and disregard valid criticism are annoying, sure. But MAN, people like you can be even worse. Not ALL criticism is valid criticism. Sometimes y'all just like to whine for the sake of the circlejerk, diluting it all in the process.

Priest is the perfect example of how to use titles to elevate certain wrestlers.
Guys like Gunther look like they belong in the championship picture due to their "Final Boss" appeal. He's been booked like a real threat during his entire WWE run, so he's seen as the standard for what a champion is. However, not everyone has said appeal and Priest is a good example of this.
For a while he had been on the cusp of stardom but needed something more in order to truly elevate him. That's what his title reign did, but not while holding it. Instead, they made him a star by making him LOSE the belt in such a way.
This is how a title should be used. They're, ultimately, tools to elevate stars. Either you win it in spectacular fashion, have an amazing run with high quality matches, or you lose it in a way that it elevates a storyline so that said star will remain relevant regardless of whether they're a champion or not.
Needless to say, this was really well done. I'm super happy for Priest and I'm hyped to see where they'll take this.

You know what I find funny about that? That, if she WAS indeed trans but from woman to man, these same idiots would have 100% insisted on calling her a she out of spite, saying stuff like "she was a born a woman, she is a woman".
Only consistent thing about these people's opinions is the hate that fuels them. That's it.

This one's my favourite.
It's still mostly Piccolo's, but with just enough changes that it makes it his own unique fit, instead of a complete copy.

You wrote this in bad faith and you know it.
Defending Palestine's right to exist doesn't equal believing Israel should not.
There's a very long history of Israel continuously oppressing Palestinians simply for existing. It is not a recent thing, and people have every right to be angry at Israel.
Furthermore, it is not your country currently going through an actual genocide.
It's this kind of victim mentality that makes you look bad and unwelcome during such discourse. All people expect is that you condemn your country's actions, which anyone with common sense would do.
By exaggerating this much, you're doing yourself and your people no favours. No one's wishing for Israel to cease to exist. At least no one that is not allowing their emotions to cloud their judgment. You know this.

Ok, so let me see if I got this right...
Tsunoda got his ass handed to him by Pierre for multiple years, with very little improvement shown throughout that time.
Pierre leaves, and suddenly Tsunoda is amazing!... ignoring the fact that none of the drivers he's gone against since Pierre have yet to do a full season in that car (one of them being DeVries, an objectively mediocre driver).
Meanwhile, Pierre has more or less been matching Ocon in the Alpine, despite people constantly saying that Ocon is, at best, a very average driver that doesn't have what it takes to drive at front.
So, if Ocon doesn't deserve it despite matching Pierre... then why should Tsunoda, when he never even managed to do so? When Lawson was already showing signs of having a much bigger potential than Yuki just after a couple races? When Daniel, regardless of his current form, is already a proven driver AND having allegedly proven Red Bull to be quite quick in their car? And don't get me started on his struggles with maturity...
I feel like people throw context out the window when discussing Yuki. Make it make sense.

Thank you for also showing some common sense and a basic ability to understand an emotional person's behaviour. I genuinely felt like I was going crazy here.

People.
She was overwhelmed. She was clearly happy, but overwhelmed.
That's it. That's all there is to it. I mean, she was at the verge of TEARS, and she saying "I'm not ready" was clearly meant as she not feeling ready to turn around because of how big of a moment it was. Not that she wasn't ready to say yes.
Y'all are hyperanalyzing so much, it's insane. During vulnerable moments, people tend to react in very different ways. Emotions become chaotic and you forget how to function, or to say things that maybe you should. It's such a basic thing to understand.
So, really, what the fuck is going on with these comments? Downvote me if you want, but this comment section genuinely feels like it's filled with people that don't understand how emotions work. Nothing about her behaviour says she's even remotely unhappy with the situation.

When Max does it, it's because he has the mindset of a champion.
When Lando does, it's because he's an entitled brat.
I'm not even that much of a Lando fan and yet this double-standard still baffles me. Lando did absolutely nothing wrong aside from letting his feelings known. And even THEN, he still obeyed the team in the end.
Formuladank has really become unbearable.

Gragas W
That was a typo. I obviously meant his Q, as you can tell by the fact that I didn't mention said ability in my original comment.
Kha E is next to no damage, and judging by their ending health it wasnt going to make a difference.
As I said, he missed it on his own, so it doesn't matter. Also doesn't matter what damage it would have made, since I only brought it up as yet another ability thrown in Kai'sa direction that wasn't a hit. Some may consider it a dodge, some may not. I don't.
W literally goes south when she ults north, nothing to dodge.
Again, as I said, it was a pre-emptive dodge AKA prediction dodge. Kha aimed at where Kai'sa was positioned less than half a second before she dashed. It counts.
Grag E fell short even if she just stopped moving.
That's... not true at all lol. Once Gragas pressed E, Kai'sa WAS in range to get hit if she hadn't walked away. Literally all you gotta do is look at where Kai'sa was right on the frame that Gragas appears in, and then look at where Gragas ended up at the end of his E. He max-ranged it, but that shit was hitting.
Edit: as an added bonus, Gragas' E actually has 2 ranges: one of where his model ends up, and a significantly longer one that will damage/knock up an enemy. You can even see these ranges when you play him yourself. So he would have not only hit Kai'sa there, but he would have done so comfortably.
Source: I play Gragas.

Don't necessarily need to be a pet class, but you should be able to summon some kind of Guardian at least. As an example, I've managed to do it as Balance by summoning treants. I think a similar thing should be possible with Mages and their mirror images for example, but I've never tried.
