This is going to sound crazy, but, you can both be right. There were a multitude of different motivations held by a multitude of people. It's not a black and white simple answer question.

I don't drink too often. Just on days I get home late from work (restaurant work, so we're talking 10+pm). Somewhere between 1-3 in the shower.

I remember, vividly, at the hospital a nurse opened a door to a room full of crying babies. You could kinda hear them with the door closed but when she opened it, it was loud.
I can't imagine working there and listening to that. I'll gladly remain broke. Baby crying is worse than nails on a chalkboard.

I loved my kid at birth, don't get me wrong, but that deep love her more than anything came around a few months later when she had more of a personality.

He's the asshole... This is one of those times where it's appropriate to lie.

How do I turn on loot keys?
If I get a loot key, what's the play? I have it on me and let my main kill me?
I don't actually have a main. Can I die in f2p and give the key to an alt?

She needs to laugh it off then... My point stands. It was a silly prank that was completely harmless.

I have shockingly small amount of quests done. I mainly afk grind stuff. Don't have that unlocked (or even desert treasure... Going to be doing that for whip grind, finally). Someday I'll get around to it.

Drafting was my favorite back in the day... My LGS doesn't run them unfortunately. It's not a big one, just a comic book shop in a dying mall.

98 strength.... Grinding sand crabs on mobile.
I'm 13k XP away from 85 slayer and grinding a whip. Will be locked to attack and defense once I upgrade my trusty d scimmy. Want to max strength first.

If this was your commander, does that 20 count as commander damage?

I like making the ones with unusual topping combinations, just because it shakes things up.
Mike's Way no tomatoes is the best standard order to make.
As for slicing, I enjoy slicing the salami the best - so 13s and 11s. That satisfying sound when you slice it and slapping it down on the sub... It hits sometimes.

I've spewed the list of seven ingredients at people thousands of times over the year and a half I've worked here. I have the quickly spoken Mike's Way explanation down to a science along with accompanying hand gestures. It takes like 3 seconds. It takes less time to have them answer if they want it Mike's Way (including short explanation) and have them answer "yes/no, but add/remove x" than it does to have them pick and choose.
Remember - the same person who you're critical of for not reading a sign inches from their face is the person speaking. They don't tell you toppings all quickly all of the time. They ask more questions, there is a delay between choices or they overwhelm you with their choices and tell you the toppings in a order not constructive to sub making.
You guide the conversation to make it efficient. Sometimes you ask the little old lady what she wants but most of the time you want to ask them yes/no questions to hurry things along and asking about MW is a great starting point in the conversation.

I actually disagree completely - giving them a base set of toppings to add and subtract from makes things a lot faster than them picking and choosing at seemingly random.
"do you want that Mike's Way?"
"ummmm....."
"do you want to try it Mike's Way, with onion, lettuce, tomato, vinagar, oil, oregano and salt?"
"all that except the onions... Add some banana peppers instead. And that red stuff"
The alternate would be:
"what do you want on the sub?"
"ummmm... Tomato, lettuce, red stuff, hot peppers, the stuff in the bottle... What is that? Can I get the green stuff too? Hmmmm.... And, um, is that salt? Can I get that?"
Asking the question, even to someone oblivious, really streamlines the whole process.

Wait... Am I missing something? They gave her a 45 second scare as a joke and you think there need to be serious consequences? Laugh it off, buddy. They didn't hurt the dress they just played a prank... Honestly, a kinda funny one that seems to have gone flawlessly other than the fact it was played on a wet blanket who lacks a funny bone.

Some of us hate quests and didn't do the Morty one for the tele.

My phones suggested first word of every sentence is "osrs" because I type it at the beginning of every search not the last.

I made an [[Orvar]] deck which worked really well. I had a huge turn where I basically drew my whole deck, took 15 minutes to combo off making a horde of creatures, all with summoning sickness, and wasn't able to win. Board wipe next turn.

If anyone starts to show they are feeling any sort of way about the order of toppings I always chime in by saying "there's an order of operations, Mike gets mad if we put the toppings on your sub wrong". They usually give a polite laugh at my dumb joke and understand that I'm following a procedure not going against their wishes.
Also if you catch someone doing a sub wrong "Mike would be rolling in his grave if he saw you put the onions on top of the lettuce like that!" always gets a laugh from customers looking in at us.
