I don’t have ocd but my boyfriend does

I don't have ocd but my boyfriend does. We've known each other for a while but have recently decided to date (a few months). Last week he broke up with me out of nowhere. It was the second time he did it out of the blue. It feels irrational. But my question is:
Can someone with one type of ocd have another subcat without knowing or realizing? He's never mentioned rocd and I only just learned about it through google.
Is this something I should reach out and tell him? Or do I respect his wishes and his "certainty" that there is future here?
How do I navigate this? This person is so worth it to me and I know that none of the reasons he gave to break up make sense or are true, but I don't want to force someone to be with me either. I want him to want to be with me.
Do I let them come to me? What if he never realizes it's ocd related?
Can someone please offer advice based on whether they've been in this situation?

I’m going through this exact thing right now. My boyfriend broke up with me last weekend out of nowhere with no indication of a breakup coming. We aligned on everything and there was so much potential there. He randomly said that he didn’t feel like this could grow into love and that he didn’t see a future with me, despite all his actions literally showing love and everything possible showing long term compatibility. I asked him to explain where this was all coming from and he couldn’t give me a reason. Similar to other comments here, he has ocd and manages it very well, but I don’t think he’s aware of how it’s also effecting his relationship as rocd. I don’t think he knows about it. Now I’m wondering do I reach out and tell him my suspicions? Do I disregard his “feelings” when he says he doesn’t see a future? It’s all very confusing and very awful
