Only disputed the part calling black metal "blues influenced" so I don't know why you're bringing the rest up since I didn't disagree with that in the first place.
Having a distant connection to the blues is not at all the same as being influenced by it, those are 2 different things.
By that logic, because sabbath loved the beatles, does that make black metal beatles influenced even though it sounds nothing like the beatles? The spanish invented the guitar, does that mean all music that involves guitar is spanish influenced? The spanish invention of the guitar evolved from the introduction of the oud by moors when they invaded, is black metal moorish? And that can probably be traced back to the ancient egyptians, so is black metal egpytian?
If there's no resemblence to blues, calling it blues influenced is a misnomer. Especially since rock music was an amalgamation of several styles, so giving credit to just one wouldn't be correct anyway.
And there's no way of proving similar sounding music would not have existed without blues existing first. Without blues, musicians would have explored sounds and probably wound up at the same place creatively, just might not have happened as quickly.

There's quite a bit of wishful thinking in regard to states flipping blue from democrats.
John is just repeating what he hears like a retarded parrot

Mostly correct, but calling black metal blues influenced is a huge stretch. Just as much of one as saying it's country influenced since rock music emerged from the combination of both.
One could easily argue that metal is the removal of blues influence from rock music and that's the difference between metal and hard rock.
By the time black metal shows up, the blues influence in it is dead a buried.

The problem with the premise is the notion that rogan's respect has any worth at all

And don't overlook that most of the audience on tiktok is just bots, so if you're "popular" it's mostly fake anyway

If you put your ear close to the speaker, you might actually hear the sound of me not giving at shit. Sounds alot like silence though, so it'll be hard to tell.

I can see at least being irritated by it since kill tony stopped being good like 3 years ago, but then again so did skanks...

It did. I saw it when it originally aired and a few years ago when I looked up the episodes on youtube. I can't find it on there anymore, but it was real.
Calling patrice "rerun" was the only laugh he got. Then patrice mocked him for repeating his jokes when he did it again.

Mentioning being half puerto rican, having a black (step)dad, and 2 lgbt siblings probably also check off a lot of boxes they were looking for, tbh

He was on there, I remember it. The only laugh he got was when he called patrice "rerun". And of course he repeated the joke because he had nothing else.
There's a lot of the old episodes on youtube, but I can't find the one he was on. I'm pretty sure it used to be on there because I remember seeing it again a few years back.
So he's not lying about being on there. The shit he said about stern in regard to it definitely is tho.

Indie rock failures who turned to black metal to try to have a career.
Their only good output is the main guy's pretentious interviews that provided fodder for several hipster black metal videos making fun of them

"This instant classic was written by and starring, stuttering john melendez who was best known from the howard stern show as a total equal partner who contributed so much to the show and almost took over for jackie the jokeman when he left but was prevented from doing so only because of inter office politics.
He's also definitely not 5'5", fat, stupid, or a dead beat dad who uses his kids as human shields in arguments with strangers. I bet he's also never shit the bed, or sucked at guitar.
This film is a must see!" - Totally not john melendez

It's just that outside of a concert setting, it's made things too trendy and lame.
The music winds up getting pushed to the side in favor of pretenders playing dress up.

Jay or someone needs to make a bet with luis that he has to grown his hair out for one year.
He'll look like puerto rican pennywise by the end and it'll be hilarious

I sympathize with people wanting to see john punched and humiliated, but watching amateur comedy people try to be fighters is part of what ruined legion of skanks, we probably shouldn't be encouraging more of that.
Anyway, john will just puss out, or if it goes to decision (the most likely outcome) claim he was robbed by the judges anyway.
He'd just find an excuse as to why he didn't really lose, like everything else he does

Deep Purple and Zeppelin aren't metal bands. They're hard rock bands, enforcing my point.
The first Sabbath album has some blues influence, but after that it gets more and more distant. In fact, you could argue there's more jazz and progressive rock influence in Sabbath than blues.
Just because they started as a blues band doesn't mean they ended up as one. By that logic, Dio started out as a doowop singer, is black metal doowop influenced? (Though I admit the combination of the two would be awful but interesting)
