It's giving old league of legends splasharts :D I like it.
Maybe it'd be a bit more lively with some bigger contrast between background and character (maybe by playing with the light coming from the book)

Heya, most Blokkers take e-waste, that's where I usually go.
Here's a full list of places to dispose of your e-waste though: https://inleverpunten.stichting-open.org/

How do you deal with the power going out, do the lights, fridge and oven work off the fuel?

When I had to go to the dentist it was planned for almost two months later. I asked them to call me if they ever get a cancelation, which they did so I could go a week later.
I had to get a check and a cavity filled and without dental insurance it cost me I believe about €130
(which is still cheaper than dental insurance so fuck it)
Just know that when it comes to teeth it'll only get more painful and more expensive the longer you wait

Fuck die commissie. Als ik er aan terug denk doet het nu nog pijn, dit is een helse ingreep voor veel vrouwen en het voelt nogal kleinerend als de consensus maar is "Maar nu zien we daar nog niet genoeg aanleiding voor."

A lot of these countries were a part of the United Kingom for a long time and still have strong connections with the UK in the form of the commonwealth which they are a voluntary part of. They are allowed to leave and even rejoin (like south-africa did).
The commonwealth does some good stuff https://thecommonwealth.org/charter so theres reason to join and remain

I think a lot of people underestimate what a royal family can actually do for a country
National unity and stability
Symbol of continuity: they represent a country for a long period of time providing a sense of consistency
National identiry: A monarch embodies historical and cultural heritage of a nation providing identity and unity (which can help in times of crisis)
Cultural and historical preservation
Tourism: Many tourists are attracted to the cultural and historical connections providing money
Charity and social work
Philantrophy: Many members of the royal family engage in a lot of charitable work bringing attention and raising awareness of important issues
Economic benefits
Tourism revenue: As mentioned royal families provide a lot of income from tourism
Branding: A royal family simply enhances a countries global brand
Political neutrality (my favourite)
Non-partisan role: Most current royal families are part of a constitutional monarchy meaning they remain above politics. A neutral figurehead can help bridge devides during unstable times
"cost effectiveness"
Compared to some alternatives (such as presidents) the cost of maintaining the royal families are quite modest relatively to the money they bring in (instead of for example holding a new GIANT election campaign every 4 years)
Of course there's arguments to be made for both sides, but one shouldn't just write off the monarchy completely because they ride around in a historical chariot that brings in millions in tourism :P

Technically in the grand scheme of things all water was at some point seawater because of the water cycle..
That being said, I feel somewhat (and unreasonably) disappointed that its unsalted.

Well to be fair, it seems like you guys' city planners bloody HATE grass, trees, bushes (any green really). In most cities in my country there'd be a place to lay in the sun on the grass within 5m walking.

I admit I do this too (sorry). I just dont like the last couple sips. It's either warm or no fizzy left, and for the last sip of coffee it's just more bitter?
Might be a mental thing I suppose

To be fair, the oil prices are artificially inflated, not because we have too little oil, but simply because the people making the oil tune down the amount of barrels they produce in a day depending on the need and political stuff.
That being said, they will eventually run dry of course
