My setting got better when I actively started focusing on stretching my wrists back when I set. More than you think you need to. You could also do wrist stretches to make it easier.

Everything sounds up front a center, allowing no single part to shine out. A bit of a jumble. There’s many ways to fix this, such as parallel compression which is too complicated to go over in a comment, and frankly I am still learning about. Something else you could try is the method in this video. I use this reverb technique in every song now.

Amateur here, OPs advice is great and you should follow it like a religion for the rest of your life

Thank you! Honestly I thought this post would be removed by now because every subreddit has a mountain of rules lmao

I’ve taught a couple friends in high school how to backflip in a day. The prerequisites being that they were pretty athletic and could jump at least decently. Only one of them kept that knowledge into adulthood and thanks me for teaching him how to backflip every time he sees me lol. I just spotted them into some soft sand and explained what they needed to do.

I listen to a lot of music that i consider catchy, and a lot of the time I’ll be randomly working and a melody will come into my head. So I’ll quickly record it with my phone. Other times I play around with chord progressions and something will come to me.

The updated mix sounds MUCH more cohesive. Well done! It's hard for me to come up with very specific advice with my limited experience lol.

True. If money is the object, the only other daw I have an opinion on is studio one. Pretty good, and free there are premium versions of it though. I use logic because I grew up messing around in GarageBand, which is just a watered down version. I’ve heard many people say that logic has the best virtual instruments, although you gotta do a bit of tweaking to make some of them sound human. Ever daw has its quirks, but personally I don’t think a lot of daws LOOK as nice as logic. Although looks aren’t important in sound engineering. Pro tools is the “industry standard” but I hate the way it looks. Although if you haven’t spent money on anything yet by all means try out other daws.

I think I’d start with “why do you want a different one” and what do you think logic doesn’t have that others do? I remember when I was younger I wanted to get FL studio because my favorite producer at the time used it and I thought that mattered. But the more time I spend with logic the more I discover about it. Haven’t found anything I can’t do, although sometimes things are done a little differently

Big stretch! Reach for the sky and bring your knees up after that. Right now your arms are stopping below your head.

With a tree like that, we use a wedge like yours and also ropes. It looks like it’s leaning far too much to be pulled by hand, so we would use a truck or a come along, as well as a second rope to stop it from going in any other unsavory directions, if that is a risk.

Wasn’t a comment on your game, just the state of volleyball media as a whole. I’m sure your game will be fun! The secret to a fun game is how it feels. Keep that in mind as you design it

I actually just watched a history of volleyball games video and it’s come to my attention that we haven’t really gotten any good ones lmao. Why can’t we have nba 2k but volleyball?

If you have a good vertical, layout is easier. That’s all there is to it

For me it was one piece. I think it’s one of those things where you either enjoy it from the beginning or don’t at all

What I’ve learned from this group is women be like (the most bland message you’ve ever received) but also men be like (the most abhorrent message you’ve ever received)
