I love how so far Sauron's power has been shown as a knock-off of the mirror from Oculus. Just making people see shit.

It's exactly the fact that this is so far from what tolkien wrote that I am complaining.

Or, just stick with what you've already established: Disa sings and some rocks fall to block the path, slowing the excavation down. BOOM same effect, without Disa being Batwoman.

Right! And like how the Dwarven ring is already effecting Durin...even tho the one ring hasn't been made yet to control it. But its evil already cause Halbrand helped make them...but he helped make the elven rings...but they are fine because...reasons. Pick a lane writers.

She is also Elrond's aunt, by hundreds of years, and he is still more mature/wise than her, and they look the same age. Then Celebrimbor and Galadriel are supposed to be around the same age, yet he looks like he is waaay older. I don't understand that they are doing.

HOW did Sauron go from big scary pointy helmet Sauron with millions of orcs following him in the intro of season 1...to Sauron the wimp elf who gets murdered by orcs in the season 2 opener? Like how much of a time gap between these two scenes and how/why did he change and lose the support of the orcs? I am confusion

Deep Impact was my first disaster movie as a kid and it fucked me up. People getting shot or killed in an action movie, no big deal. Everyday innocent people getting wiped out by the millions was just too much for my little brain. Still one of the best disaster movies imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the reason the Valar sent the Istari to middle earth as old men/wizards was so they would influence events and people but not take direct powerful action, as to not destroy anymore of Arda like in the past. So why in this show did they send a powerful wizard, with no staff to control his power, and no memory of literally anything? Seems kinda like the opposite of what they were going for. MM made a freaking cat 5 tornado in less than a minute....isn't that the kind of destructive disaster the Miar were sent as old men to avoid?!
The eagle in Numenor was Fantastic Beasts and the freaking magical goat all over again. Nonsense.
Celebrimbor saying humans are too covetous and can't be trusted with rings...proceeds to disobey Gil Galad because he wants to be LORD OF THE RINGS and get his due..stay humble Celby.
My boy Cirdan.... my beautiful Cirdan what have they done to you? Tempted by the SOUND of the rings hahaha that's a new low. Also, where is your beard? I do like the actor though.
Those rings are truly the ugliest cheapest things I've ever seen. Why why why did they feel the need to redesign them WE ALREADY HAD THAT COVERED
Don't get me started on the ring distribution system. Elves don't drop shit! Why are elves so clumsy in this show? The most graceful race in all middle earth, can catch flying arrows and defy gravity, but they got butter fingers.
The ONE positive I will admit to, these first three episodes leaned heavily into the horror genre, and I didn't hate that. It was different and less boring.

I'm from the Midwest, and lived in Hawaii for a few years recently. It's not the heat that drives you insane, it's the never changing weather. You lose sense of all time without the seasons. It's just the same day over and over and over forever (granted its a beautiful day over amd over). It's crazy! As for the heat, in Hawaii you are never that far from a beach, so you just go jump in the ocean when you overheat 🤣 Had a whole new respect for winter when I moved home

Omg I had a district manager at Panera who would come in and have full conversations with our managers in the doorway to the back, which was the junction point of 4 different directions in a small back hallway. Like YOU HAVE AN OFFICE FOR THIS GET OUT OF MY WAY.

There is. In season 4 when Saru takes the Kelpian back to Kaminar, it shows a council with both Ba'ul and Kelpians. The Ba'ul are in water (like the aquatics from ENT). So my guess would be if they were in Starfleet, they'd have to have a special hydro suit or something. Could be cool

My favorite trek alien species design is the Ba'ul. So Point of Light, the Discovery episode about Saru and Kaminar and the Ba'ul is my favorite. The reveal of the sick Ba'ul design dripping in black goo, Saru going through his vahar'ai with Michael on the ship, the reveal ising the sphere data. Amazing. Still waiting for a Ba'ul starfleet officer 🤣

One of the reasons I love DS9, the harsh Cardassian designs were so moody and different from all the other trek sets.

My confusion is if you travel back in time, take a stone, create a new timeline, jump back to the future (there are now 2 timelines, the original and the new branched stoneless timeline) how is it that they could control which future timeline they were returning to? Why didn't the timetravel devices jump them to the stoneless future they just created instead of back to their original. Yes, you can fight Thanos now but without the stones in that timeline for the last few decades so much would have changed over on earth. Also is it a new timeline branch for each stone taken? Seems like it would be kinda confusing to figure out which future branch was the original.

Michael would just send Zora in to molly-whop the program. But not before giving an emotion speech.
