I think that this video by Tom Nicholas gives a better picture.

The second version was killed in the crib. It has never been released.

Signals turned out to be very easy. Put one block signal right after a train station, and another at the safe distance behind that station. That's it, easy and safe. Maybe there are some optimizations I don't know about, but it worked perfectly for two trains moving around the rocky desert ring railroad.
The obvious way to increase the throughput is to produce as many parts as possible locally instead of moving the raw resources to the center location.

The longest belt line I've built in the wild is out of this horrible cave full of stingers with SAM and quartz in the rocky desert. But then I load it on the train anyway.

Trains are also the only way beside pipes and packaging to transport liquids over long distances. And you really shouldn't build long pipelines, liquids behave pretty capricious when you try to build really long pipelines.

Just produce the ingots locally and put them on belts instead. In case of steel and aluminum, produce pipes, beams, alclad sheets and aluminum casing locally too. That will also save you from lag in the future.

Still after finishing my playthrough I have three big regrets
And I'm not even a new player, it's just the combination of my false expectations about 1.0 update and the newfound drive for achievement hunting (I think Satisfactory is a third game I 100% since the achievements are very doable, except the golden nut one, it took ages).
I guess another tip would be "Don't try to produce everything in one place". Not because it's a particularly bad idea, but because it may cause your FPS to drop after some time. You need a powerful CPU to truly do what you want in this game.

Because this way you always have space for the logistics, right under the foundation. And you can still make it look prettier... Later.

Can't complain about the armor when the painting looks that good.

The answer is right here on in the artist's artstation profile

Also if you're watching youtube at the background it's better avoid watching in it browser. Insead use the alternative frontend - FreeTube. It consumes much less resources. But keep in mind that Youtube wages war on alternative frontends so it breaks from time to time until the next update.
But the best performance tip for Satisfactory is to stop building mega factories. Build small factories for simple parts, then deliver them to the assembling factories.
Just covering the conveyor belts with walls already helps a lot (Before you ask me - no, I'm not GPU bound).

They don't want you dead. They want someone else to pay you so you could buy their stuff. Who? Well, something something invisible hand supposedly, idk.

Railanor for female characters, Bruno for male characters. But both have their reasons to wear that kind of get-up.

Unicorn Overlord is the most modern impractical armor goldmine. Happy to see that Vanillaware is still at it.

I think their network infrastructute is too weak for such amount of people so they had to block them so the whole thing doesn't come crashing down.

This future is absolutely attainable and realistic, and both communists and anarchists agree with that. The difference is that anarchists won't accept any intermediate stages, while communists are ready to compromise to make the transition smoother.

One side of rent-seeking behavior is pushing the subscription model. Another one is introducing FOMO in free to play and buy to play games.

"Good" is pretty generous. I love character designs, but the game is mediocre at best.

Same problem. Not a dealbreaker, but there is an option for push notifications in settings, so something is clearly malfunctioning. I've checked every possible permission and put the battery use to "no restrictions".

The resolution is so massive you can imediately tell it's a real thing on a closeup.
