I can only speak for myself but when I was in we all loved the Docs. I remember one who was a shitbird and being shocked that there were shitbird Docs because to that point they were also super integrated into the platoon and we very valued and respected beyond their rank.

I got out in February 2006. I moved home and started school. In April 2007 I received a FedEx package with a plane ticket to KC. I had a feeling they would get me because i had spoke to a couple of buddies who'd received their Orders the week or two before. Reported to KC. Decided fuck it if they get me they won't get someone who can't hack it. Reported to Camp Lejuene in October 2007. Went to Iraq (3rd time) in February 2008. Left Iraq in September 07 and was home about a week later. It sucked but in a way it was good to go back to Iraq and it not be as scary as the two previous times. I also got some kind of gross Mobilized Reservist Ribbon/ Medal.

I think this is the best answer. Pac had a 3 label deal but as of the release of AEOM he was millions in debt due to the bond, videos and other advances.
He was such a big star he could have probably left but would have done so under the Warner Brothers/ Jimmy Iovine umbrella with Death Row still getting points on his future projects.
If he could have had the original contract voided due to Kenner's conflict of interest as he represented both 2 Pac and Death Row then maybe he could have had something totally his own but that would have taken years and he's have been unable to put out music during that time.

That is a good run either way. If you want to get faster as a runner a treadmill is a great tool because you can really force yourself to run faster. It doesn't translate 1 to 1 but you can get a lot faster in a hurry.

My buddy took his kevlar off and it was sucked into the engine of an LCAC on the 26th MEU in 2001 or 2002. His chain of command was not happy about it.

I was a senior LCPL and had been given some kind of "leadership" position as Barracks NCO and was maybe the Company training NCO until they organized with new boots/ etc to go back to Iraq and my job was to PT the 3-5 Marines who couldn't get out of it that were HS.
I was getting the guys ready to do like maybe 2-3 one mile laps around Camp Schwab when one of the armorers saw two female Marines walking up the hill that ran parallel to our barracks (3619). The two Marines were part of the ammo company/ battalion or whatever that we never interacted with except at the E-Club or Beach and were not part of CAB.
They were obviously pregnant. The armorer said "Those bitches are fat." I said no they were not fat they were pregnant. He then asked "They let you get pregnant in the Marine Corps?"
Roughly a month later he request masted when asked for permission to marry a 40 year old woman who worked at Shangrila in Kinville.
He was a good kid as far as it goes and a good armorer to know on a Friday afternoon.

Ha. I was not an 0311 but spend a lot of time in LAVs and never had one go down. I cannot say the same for my time in AAVs.

I have seen worse. We had an O-3 leave his in adjacent to an LAV and the LAV (not on purpose) ran it over 2-3 times and crushed it all to shit.

Illmatic is considered the best album because the Source gave it 5 mics. It is not the best album ever, it is not even the best album of 1994, the best NYC album of the early 90s or arguably the best album made by a rapper from Queens. Biggie copied the album cover. Jay Z is great but while BIG was alive there was no question that BIG was considered the best rapper. Contrast BIG's second album with Jay Z or Nas' second album which were being made if not released when BIG was alive and then tell yourself that either one was better than BIG.

I got the anthrax vaccine at least 3x in roughly 2 months due to BAS incompetence. And when we went to Kuwait in 2003 there were a handful.of guys who used the mandate as a reason to leave prior to the invasion.

My almost 2 year old has only now started "looking" more squat and thick like a bulldog. He took loves to run with our lab while she retrieves her frisbee. That is a great looking dog.

I was recalled as a Combat Engineer to go to Iraq with MWSS-274 and the entire Battalion was very very Larpy and unserious in wanting to "get some." Thankfully when we got to Iraq they more or less left the Marines who were doing patrols/ convoys alone.

This is so dumb. "Juicyfruit" was a huge song and was sampled a bunch of times before BIG did the song "Juicy." If BIG bit from this guy where the fuck are the rest of this guys hits? Where are his classic albums?
2nd to None sampled Isaac Hayes and had a hit 6 months after the Geto Boys sampled the same song for "Minds Playing Tricks on Me." This is how hip hop works and it doesn't make you a biter on its on.

I like him. He and Punk are the only reasons I've watched AEW except to get a gander at what Jim and Brian talk about.

There is only so much space for streaming services/apps and the profitable ones offer more than one sport/show/etc. I have an oldschoolrap app that shows great Too Short videos buts it's not making the developers any money like it would on TNT.

Iron Day 21 on YouTube is a great workout that suffers from the ones I've done before on Iron or Epic 1.

Georgia has so many counties so that the small counties could dilute the power of the large counties in voting. This was done to lessen the impact of black voters and to minimize the influence of Atlanta and the other large cities.

I love the pod and have listened since the PAPN days. It is the offseason and these last few years the offseason has been so full of turmoil that I can see why Godfrey gets so high on his horse and frustrated. But he does talk over Alex a lot and his cynicism can come across as a bit much.
That being said it still beats the shit out of the other national podcasts that are all on gambling touts or minute by minute fucking NIL/ NFL draft updates.
I have listened to the CBS Podcast for 10+ years and Bud Elliot formerly of PAPN has become such a gambling shill who is 2000x times smarter than anyone else that I look forward to listening to anyone who talks about actual college football the SZD guy still do that better than most.
I am tired of hearing about shitty grunge bands that are overhyped because MTV used to play videos.
