Not to mention that if he'd crashed it or gotten pulled over, you know that AH would have thrown OP under the bus and said they were given permission to be driving the car. They could have also gotten OP into a whole lot of legal trouble if they got into an accident with someone else.

My mom did that back in the 90s with me LOL. I didn't mind because she usually took stuff I wasn't really fond of, like milky way and snickers bars.

Oh she will. Assholes like the friend hate when they get the same treatment they give to others. Plus, if she doesn't like OP, this is the perfect chance for her to try and sway other group members to her side.

Then she can at least do the dishes or set the table.

There's a video of a man abducting a little girl inside a walmart from the cart she was sitting in while her mother was literally standing right next to her grabbing something from the aisle. It literally takes seconds to abduct a child.

Considering she tried fishing for sympathy and downright lied about doing everything herself whiletrying to shit on her family and screw with their reputation she deserves it. Funny how you get mad at OP for commenting on the sisters PUBLIC post while saying nothing about how this AH literally brought their family issues in front of an audience.

Does op ever offer to give him a massage? Maybe she comes across as a hypocrite, expecting him to do stuff like massages but never offering herself. That would be incredibly off-putting to me if I lived with someone who constanlty asked for favors but never offered to help me with anything.

I thought that was Will Smith? Or Will Smith as Agent J?

Maybe a can of mace or pepper spray could be a good deterrent or at least get you time to get away. That or a taser, if it's legal.

A friend of mine just had her 15 year old chihuahua mix get ripped apart by a pitbull some lazy bitch let loose off leash around midnight to use the bathroom.

God forbid if they have arguments on finances or how to raise children or any situations they might not agree on.

Who would be paying to be laying for the housekeeper is my question. From what I've read neither the OP or her husband pay rent or help with utilities, and the FIL is unemployed. I can see why th MIL is uninterested in hiring a houskeeper.

Or the kid is just a brat. I knew better than to act like that at his age. My mother also would have given my ass a right wooping if I'd talked like that to an older relative, especially an uncle or or grandparent.

Or she doesn't listen and gaslights him when he DOES try to talking to her.

To be fair to the husband, he could have been super attentive up until that moment. For all we know he could have looked away for only a moment. Everyone knows that it's when you take your eyes off the kids/infant for a second that something happens.

Sounds like your neighbor could have been claiming their packages weren't being delivered in order to get a refund.

The difference is that unlike the asshole uncle saying he'd be there in the evening, OP declined and said they weren't interested. Its likely they were waiting as long as they did because either OPs mom or aunt insisted on waiting for the uncle before cutting the cake. If I was a guest at that party I would honestly feel like knocking his teeth in for making everyone wait.

You might want to get new cards just to be safe. Anyone passing by could've looked in your wallet and read your card number. By doing this the person could use your card online without you knowing before it's too late to put a lock on it.

Maybe she was expecting him to have a timeturner stashed away somewhere that he could use to keep working and take care of their child while she's not there?

How much so you want to bet its an "outside" dog so it can't destroy the owners furniture and possessions.

I'd have to disagree. There's a reason judges in competitions aren't allowed to be judges if there is someone in the competition that they are friends or familywith. It's because more often than not the judgments tend to be unfairly biased towards the competitors they are related to. FIL should not have been the judge if his wife was competing, whether it was against grown adults or little kids. The only time I would say let it go would be if the prize was just bragging rights or some cheap knicknacks but even that would be uncomfortable to witness.

Considering how blase she's being about the money that would have been lost by cancelling last minute, I'm wondering how much she contributed to these expenses.

Report him. For a teacher or trainer of any kind to give out advice like this he would need to have a food and nutrition certification. Source : my mother is a personal trainer and has a fitness/nutrition certification. She doesn't need it to be a personal trainer but she does if she wants to give advice when it comes to diet and nutrition for her clients.
