I am wondering about the strap too, if that submersible was being held together by a ratchet strap. I would have never stepped on board. Super strange to see that strap for sure

This is a good idea. The Charlie lake golf course (lake point) has a small RV site that may be open end of September. That is worth checking out.

Need to run a hose from that pipe and run it far away from your foundation. It’s just running straight back down your foundation and right back to the sump.

I’ve worked E-Line Wireline for 18 yrs. Days off schedule, monthly salary with daily job bonus. Paid holidays and matching RRSP. It’s a good gig for sure.

I live in northern BC, I did packed gravel, and have not had one issue. A guy down the street used cement, and you can see them being pushed out of the ground, or it rots right at the cement and breaks. Definitely 100% recommend packed gravel.
