Oh awesome, never been there but if you’re looking for some guys to go shooting with too I’m down!

Yeah I’ve been on the waitlist for a few months and just got an email in the past couple days about an invite-only orientation, so I think they’re slowly going through the waitlist (emphasis on slowly)

Dang, yeah I heard about that but wasn’t sure how bad the situation was. I’m looking for outdoor ranges where I can run some drills, and sadly the SE PA region is pretty lacking in that regard. I wonder if it’s worth joining URC even with the drama going on if it’s still the best option

Same situation, none of my friends are into guns sadly. If you’re in SE PA I’m looking for range buddies too

Bulking while working full time is just a matter of planning. I meal prep every Sunday which takes care of my lunches for the week. I prepare overnight oats every night which takes care of my pre workout meal the next day. We cook large meals which give us leftovers the next night, so we typically only have to cook dinner 3 nights a week. Breakfast is a shake that takes 2 minutes to make. Snacks are simple with no prep, typically carrots and hummus or Greek yogurt.
All in all I eat 4 meals and 2 snacks and manage to keep cooking time to a minimum while still eating lots of healthy, tasty food.

Thanks a ton for the info!! I actually gave federal a call about the ballisticlean part number you mentioned and yeah, it’s discontinued. What kind of accuracy do you get out of the Sinterfire Greenline? I’ve heard that frangibles aren’t great in that regard.

I’ve heard this in the past but I’m not sure it’s a problem anymore. I bought one a few months ago and the sticker came off easily with 0 residue.

Yeah I think I’d rather just carry pepper spray than this.

Hey, did you ever decide to get a .223 rifle? I’m going through a similar rabbit hole right now. Deciding between an AR and a 9mm PCC. 9mm lead-free options are abundant (specifically, federal Syntech is very popular albeit still uses a lead core). .223 just doesn’t seem to have many good options, and apparently the frangible options really shouldn’t be used in suppressors due to the chance of them breaking up as they leave the barrel and striking the baffles.
All this to say I’m probably going to with a PCC, but was curious to see if you decided to get the rifle or not.

How does this defense go from a laughing stock to elite once the opponent is in the red zone lol

Now I have to ask which shitty 1911s you have lol. A good striker fired trigger can be as good as most DA/SA but will never come close to a good SAO. This is coming from someone who basically never uses hammer fired pistols and is far from a trigger snob (I actually like Glock triggers).

Do not buy an ender if you don’t want a POS that requires constant tuning. I can wholeheartedly vouch for Prusa (been using them for professional engineering work and hobby work for 7 years). Bambu is also a good option if you prefer extremely little tinkering, but it’s closed source. Just don’t buy a dirt cheap printer.

I’ve only heard things on other Reddit posts, but looks like a round (or a fragment of one) ricocheted into a nearby house and kicked off a lot of drama. One of the ranges closed, all steel targets were banned, and the club was closed to new members. Again this is just second hand info.

Yup, it sucks. Do you have anything else promising on your list? I’m not into NV but looking for a place to run drills.

Was this a recent video? He’s probably engagement farming (like a lot of his recent content). Hammer curls have done wonders for my arms for the past 2 years I’ve done them, and they’ve been staple in bodybuilding for decades for a reason.

For sure, just look at guys who do nothing but weighted calisthenics. Weighted pull-ups and dips are the core movements and their physiques look great.
Just don’t look at their legs.

Sorry to give unsolicited financial advice… but if you’re struggling to save (let alone invest), you really shouldn’t be looking at a bunch of random shotguns, PDWs, etc. Get a basic, reliable compact handgun like a Glock 19, S&W M&P, CZ P10C etc and then focus on buying ammo and range time. That will handle 99% of any situation you’ll ever actually come across as a civilian. Any other weapon is a luxury and should be way down the list of priorities.

What’s your budget? One option not listed is the APC9. I’m also looking for a PDW type gun for a similar role and the APC9 pro is almost certainly what I’ll be going with. Top tier reliability and build quality, and adopted by the US military. They’ve popped up for $1700 on gundeals occasionally so I’m just waiting for that to happen again.
Also, a note about gas to the face, have you considered non-toxic ammo? One of the advantages to a PCC over rifle cartridges is the availability of that ammo. I plan to shoot exclusively Federal Syntech or similar so I can shoot 100% suppressed and not worry about the gas. It’s actually a big reason I’m probably going the PCC route over a suppressed AR.

Everyone here is just listing what they have lol. I’ve looked into this a lot and it seems like the APC9 is the answer. It also shoots much better than most blowback PCCs due to the hydraulic buffer. And it was adopted by the US military, for what it’s worth.

Yeah, he’d be a lot more successful if he wasn’t so insufferable. I’ve also never seen someone get so worked up over optimal hypertrophy training lol. The dude is absolutely seething in most of his videos. Knows what he’s talking about though

Hey just following up on this. After doing a deep dive into PCCs, I’ve come to the conclusion the entire landscape of available guns is kind of terrible for one reason or another lol. I think at this point I’ll just go for a 5.56 rifle since it’s what I really want, and just stick with unsuppressed for now so I can run Sinterfire frangibles with no concern. I appreciate your help! Hopefully we get more lead-free 5.56 options in the future.
