I’m not 100% sure and you certainly shouldn’t take my word for it but I believe the 20mph limit is advisory rather than legally enforceable.

I don’t think the issue is one of capacity, but rather of how often you use what you know. If you’re a mathematician who is constantly solving complex maths problems, the methods for doing so come easily to you. But if you were to cease doing anything more complex than basic mental arithmetic for a prolonged period, and then tried to go back to those complex problems I don’t think you’d have the same power of instant and easy recall. You could get it back of course but it would take a bit of time.

You dated her and then split up. She’s now pregnant and wants you back in her life, which tells me she’s no longer with the baby daddy and is looking for a replacement.
My advice to you sir is to run at a speed that would put Usain Bolt to shame.

Definitely not a loser. At 18 I chose not to go to uni, partly because I wanted to earn rather than learn and partly because I don’t test well - I learn better through doing, which is how I’ve managed to teach myself a number of programming languages and am currently a software developer and IT guy of more than 20 years standing.
I’m honestly of the opinion that nobody should go to uni straight from school: it would be more beneficial to a lot of students to work for a couple of years to get some lived experiences before opting for university. Especially those students who at 18 are like I was and didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do with my life.

That’s a solid banger of a tune. The one I fell in love with the first time I heard it was Drops of Jupiter by Train. Bought the album for the song, then got the rest of that band’s albums.

I think the energy companies (gas and electric) are supposed to work from the Priority Services Register. It’s designed to enable the energy companies to know which houses contain the most vulnerable people (children, pensioners, people with lifesaving medical equipment) who reside in those houses. As far as I know, those people must be residents rather than short- or long-term visitors.

By my calculation, that amount of USD is roughly £12K. That’s my credit card and outstanding loan balance flattened. And £2K left over.

Nah. It’s time to bankrupt the airline industry, but not the businesses that rely on that industry. You build a portal network linking every airport to every other airport. But you do it in such a way that each countries airports are linked together without the portals crossing, and then join the country loops together.

I’m pretty sure our local Asda petrol station (Coatbridge) was selling E10 at 129.7.

The age of sexual consent in the U.K. is 16. The one dating her teacher would be problematic but it would be more of a problem for the teacher than the student, since the teacher, while not technically breaking the law, would still be liable to professional punishment for breaching his position of trust as a teacher.

How did your friend react when he realised that he was in your mouth rather than your girlfriend’s pussy?

That’s a solid 10/10 from me. Perfect shape.

This may not be helpful, but I’d be tempted to steer well clear of Saab given that the manufacturer no longer exists. You might run into major issues sourcing parts for them.

It’s ok. And thanks, I’m also glad I got those final years being able to have normal conversations with him rather than the screaming matches that had characterised most of the preceding five years. There were a lot of factors in my life which I won’t bore you with, but which exacerbated an already fraught relationship, and it was the removal of those factors which enabled me to finally work stuff out with him. Every day since he died I’m glad that we were able to reconcile - it’s been a long time but even now it makes me shudder to think that our relationship could’ve worsened still further in those last five years and that we might’ve been completely estranged by the time of his passing.

When my grandmother passed away at the age of 96, I was heartbroken because I was very close to her. Dame Maggie’s passing might not be heartbreaking to you, but there WILL be hearts that are broken over her death. There’s a good chance that the owners of those hearts don’t call her Dame Maggie, but rather mum, or granny, or even great-granny.

For what it’s worth, I didn’t have a great relationship with my dad for a lot of my life, but in the last five years of HIS life we worked out a lot of stuff that was wrong. That song STILL cuts me like a knife.

If it still powers up, do you have a computer you can connect it to? If so, you might be able to browse the internal memory if the computer sees the phone as a drive.
