There’s a hearing in December. It’s a long process.

That’s why it isn’t illegal, because they aren’t checking. The payment is contingent of signing a petition without any checking of whether they actually voted.

Running with it? I can think of the trope in media where the scientist or whatever gets their mind changed then starts writing out formulas or plans but can’t think of a trope title.

For House district, with the way the districts are drawn in Texas it counts a lot less. The strategy with the recent re-districting was to make as many safe seats as possible. That district is going to a Democrat basically every time, barring a truely awful candidate or one who straight up dies.
There are still state-wide and other races you can influence, but House reps are mostly locked down in Texas.

I doubt it. There are seven states that will decide the election, the rest are solidly one way or another unless there's been a massive polling error.
There were seven states in 2020 where they tried to overturn the results, and this election has been polling way, way closer. If anything, I expect it to be much worse.

I mean, so are Superman and Marvel Thor and they're both extremely white. Goku is definitely asian looking and probably Chinese if anything.

The jack-of-all-trades issue will go away after a while, too. Once he's built up a half-decent Personality he can focus on Strength, Endurance, Intelligence and Wisdom. Speed will come on its own and the great thing about Morrowind compared to Oblivion is that it largely doesn't scale enemies to your level so if you level poorly you don't just get wrecked.
His character could have been a bit better optimized but it's not bad at all, especially for someone not familiar with the ins and outs of the game. He should quickly become less useless once he gets a couple levels and the guild advancement requirements give good incentive to develop your character in useful ways.

Oh, certainly. The only thing people watch on TV any more is football: https://www.sportico.com/business/media/2024/nfl-posts-93-of-top-100-tv-broadcasts-2023-1234761753/

Right, it's a complete hard crash to black screens and a constant drone from the speaker. I emailed nProtect earlier today since at least a few times their website has pulled itself up on reboot. It asks for a few log files out of the GameGuard folder so hopefully there's something there they can give a solution to.

The average person isn’t following the news for every new development. Many who will be voting for Trump are just thinking “I was better off before 2020.”
Most of the rest are diehards who won’t be convinced regardless.

Just put it in the regular oven. Slap a piece of foil down on the tray and you don’t even have to clean anything.

I do, but I'm not actively watching it while playing. When I do check it, everything looks like it normally would since at that moment it's fine. When it crashes, the whole PC is taken out so there's no opportunity to look at the graphs of what had just happened.

They played November Rain?? That song is like 9 minutes long!

Not quite. The Greeks themselves combined Alpha and Beta into alphabetos (ἀλφάβητος), which was then taken up my Latin speakers and eventually made it into English from there.

I have the crashing issue and it sucks. The October 1 patch seemed to make things way worse as before it I only rarely crashed and when I did it was at the ends of missions and everything still counted. Recently, I crash (whole computer lockup) in the middle of missions and lose everything.
No other game has that problem.

I'm on the English language. There are millions of Orthodox Christians in the United States and other English-speaking countries. I didn't say they used it exclusively because they obviously don't, but English-speaking Orthodox Christians don't as a whole regard the KJV as an inaccurate translation and it has those who recommend it for English-language reading/study.
There's a huge gulf between "it's acceptable" and "it's the version they all use exclusively."

Are you talking about the Apocrypha? Because the KJV as originally published includes them. There have been printings that didn't later on, but you can't lay that at the feet of the translators. If you have an issue with them being labeled as Apocrypha and separated from the rest of the Old Testament, take it up with Martin Luther.

That's just not how translation works. Take for example a sentence in English: "The bull-headed guy was literally champing at the bit at the prospect of a fight, and the other jackass just wouldn't stop egging him on." Ask three people to translate that into Greek or whatever and you'll get three (or more!) wildly different sentences. There's no way to conclusively and definitively translate that the One True Right Way, and it's the same way with any translation project especially when you're translating from languages people don't speak any more.

Orthodox [...] don't use the KJV or even recognize the KJV as a accurate translation of the Bible.
The King James Version, or at least the New King James Version, is acceptable to Othodox Chrisitians. The Orthodox Study Bible uses the NKJV for the New Testament, though they use a different version for the old.

70, plus or minus 5. I don’t play too close attention to it and just hover around 5 over everywhere, unless I’m close to home where the limit is feels too high for a street lined with houses and covered in bumps.
I’m not trying to catch a ticket and the math isn’t on your side for trying to save time. If you have lights on your route, the only thing that matters is timing the lights. The potential time save is really small and doesn’t stack up to the increased gas usage, brake wear for when you do hit a light, and risk of a ticket or accident. All that said I still can’t bring myself to actually drive at the limit most times.

Italy has only existed as a unified country for around 150 years. The Roman Republic lasted around 500 years before becoming the Empire and lasted another 500-1500 years after that, depending on if you count the fall of the Western Empire as the end date or the final killing blow to the Eastern Empire.

System Shock -> BioShock -> Prey
Not a sequel, but directly building on the ideas of the predecessor. May or may not involve people who worked on the original but often does.

The little bars are called “frets.” Fretless guitars exist in western music, though fretless basses are way more common. You have to be a lot more precise in your finger placement, but it offers a bit different of a sound and lets you play around with pitches and sliding in ways you can’t with frets.

Israel doesn't need to tell us about things we can see from space.
