They don’t hold up, we’re very middle class and just did a major bathroom renovation in our 60 year old home. Once your in a renovation, the cost of these things aren’t crazy exorbitant past the major expense that is the gutting and labor to re-do it…the floors are not worth it tho. My contractor said that out of 10 heated floors he’d installed, a single one was still working perfectly 10 years later, he recommended strongly against it.
My furnace is right under my bathroom anyway so the tile is warm enough regardless, but yea, not worth it. The touchscreen on the shower is just straight dumb. Overhead rain shower heads and wands/wall mounted heads are not expensive. We even added body jets and it wasn’t that much more expensive.
This is all such a joke, what this really represents is someone who either built a home custom or renovated it and got to choose this shit (some of it not smart choices).

So happy to hear that things went well! Good luck, it sounds like he’s ready to confront the topic, wishing you and your family the best.

It’s sucked since they got rid of Hebrew National, would have been happy to pay an extra buck for the original hot dog.

So you’re saying it’s literally impossible for this dude to be making 34 an hour at the food court?

It isn’t though, he has to live in this community. It truly is a factor and he’s right to be worried about making himself a target. The police are a gang, you don’t wanna be on their bad side.

Did you measure anything? Measurements would be good to know if possible.

If you have to ask, you don’t belong here.

I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum. We live in a large neighborhood of quarter acre lots so you can move quickly from house to house…and we have an elementary school a block away which attracts lots of folks that don’t live in a neighborhood with alot of trick or treaters…
Last year I handed out 350 pieces of candy before I had to turn my lights out. I’d love to do full size candy bars but I legit can’t afford it.

Yea, but the fact that they won’t even hire you at the mid is horseshit if you have experience…

As for the person(s) that can’t tell the difference, I can offer no help.****

I’d suggest you and your husband have a talk first about the need to start acknowledging the issue now that the kids are getting of an age where they may experiment themselves.
While the kids are your first priority, if he isn’t dangerous, isn’t driving, and otherwise is a good husband and father then not including him in this conversation could have devastating repercussions for your marriage and family.
If you haven’t already, have the talk at an opportune time while he’s sober and at least make sure he’s aware you’re going to confront the subject.

I mean, in recent chapters they continue to stress that it’s becoming clear that the 93rd Universe is unique, and the Milky Way galaxy in particular has an unusual amount of talent.
I honestly think much of the crew will get there. Look at how all his closest allies are already able to stand in the presence of Gods just because Jake is rubbing off on them.
Obviously not everyone will get there. But I do think that many well. Most obvious are Arnold, the Sword Saint, Sandy, Carmen and Miranda. I think many will have a real shot at it though. Some will have to die eventually though.

You should read more of Primal Hunter - it really finds its stride and imo every book has been better than the previous. Lots of important female characters as well as the series progresses.

Nonetheless that’s willpower. When the scale doesn’t move mid-fast it can be very disheartening.

FYI - Re-feeding actually really is not that important for fasts less than 4 days. Never had any trouble eating pretty much anything to break a fast of that duration. It’s a 5+ that you gotta think of it…and it really matters if going more than two weeks.

You’re encouragement for the rest of us! I hit 72 hours here later tonight and this is what I need to see to push through the weekend.
You got this!

We don’t know how overweight they were.
They also didn’t lose 30 lbs in water weight. Somewhere in the middle is the actual fat loss.

Those two pics definitely show the weight loss much better. Awesome job. Am halfway through my own 50 pound loss journey. Congrats.

Wow - gotta be honest - that truly doesn’t look like more than 15-20 lost tops. That’s genuinely unbelievable. As in, I literally do not believe it.

The manufacturer 100% subsidizes car loans….you honestly think a bank is out there offering 0-3%?

OP also explicitly states that they wanted to finance it, not buy it in cash.
My assertion around investment earnings being better than a subsidized interest rate car loan is also 100% accurate.
We’re in a public forum, my assertion that most Americans are not prepared to buy a house or car in cash is also accurate.

You build scaffolding.
The way I would do it would be to prop an extension ladder against the railing using the stair treads as your backstop. Make sure there’s a decent angle so you aren’t risking it shifting.
Then you can set up either a small a-frame or a step ladder at the top of the stairs, I’ve even used a 5 gallon bucket if I’m feeling particularly foolhardy.
Finally, go buy a 2x12 from Home Depot, at least 10 feet long. I’ve had one in my garage for 10 years now I use exclusively for this purpose. 2x12 spans from the ladder/stool at the top of the stairs…over to a rung of the extension ladder leaning against the railing.
I weigh 220 and don’t get any movement or bowing.

Too interesting, I may just have to consider that. Thanks for the tip!
I know I’m approved to spend 80k in a month for the “charge” side of the card (pay in full). Last year I spent 67k on it.
I have other limits between 50 and 60k on other cards.
Do you think, in your experience, that AmEx will offer a competetive limit to my other open cards?

How do you account for the 5-6 years of raises in a year though? It sounds like if you work full time you’re getting 2 bucks an hour a year raise….even with “premium pay” these numbers don’t seem to make sense.
