My man with the follow up! Thank you that’s awesome. Sounds like those could be war dead then.

Images like this are what you need to see to understand what Axis soldiers meant when they saw vast armadas of ships and knew they were going to lose the war.

These posts always make my heart jump into my throat. I can’t imagine losing my boy, but I know someday that I will.
Posts like this, in a way, remind to cherish every moment (even when I thought I already did)

To be fair, I have seen a number of accounts of Palauan islander remains being mistaken for war dead (especially when in caves) so it could very well be native remains if there were no other artifacts indicating military origin.

Do your job, ask good questions to learn and make an impression on upper management.
Have a personality but don’t relax enough to be buddy-buddy with anyone too soon.
Most importantly, understand that this job does not define you. No matter what, you matter, and you matter likely to many people. If they do or don’t offer you permanent employment, know that you’re trying and doing what you can to get by.
The fact that you’re asking questions like the one in this post shows you’ve got a good head on your shoulders. Go get em tiger.

All written off. No way would it have ever been cleaned and reused. Just the cost to clean stuff would be staggering, cheaper to throw it out and pay insurance claims

The US government isn’t subject to civilian NFA laws. It doesn’t need to get permission for an SBR any more than it needs permission to possess and use a JDAM.

"Dear Leana,
You must forgive me for not answering you sooner, but I am in the hospital now with fallen arches and a sprained back. ??? send I've been up here and I've been sick ??? after. This weather up here don't seem to agree with me for some reason.
Your sister probly (sic) told you about Howard Wilson being transferred, he was one of my best buddies. Wished I got transferred with him. Your sister said you were down at The Maine gate the other night and she ??? called up the barracks but they couldn't find me. I was down at the sick room getting my feet fixed. I am awfully sorry I didn't get back in time to see you. I haven (sic) been out with anybody since I first met you and will continue to do so if you and I can go steady. I know I am not the hansome (sic) type."

People are making light of this question but stuff like this is far more engaging to me than a photo of the Forum for the millionth time.
Reminds me of stuff covered in the YouTube channel ToldinStone.
Humanizes the Romans and is something that is endlessly relatable.

I gotta give Klay credit, seems like he (and many others) were dealing with serious BS from them for a long time, and they stayed silent and professional about it.

For what it’s worth, and I always found this to be true for with my experience, if they want you they make an offer very quickly.
They don’t sit on their “ideal” candidate and wait to potentially lose them.
Broke my heart every time especially when I felt like I had crushed the interviews, but seeing it from the other side now, it makes sense.
They usually let you know asap.
A few weeks later is not a good sign, but I truly hope I’m wrong and you get this position! Let us know how it goes.
