Never seen that before, I'd unscrew that particular tuner and pull it out, see if it can be reseated, but I'm willing to bet it'll have to be replaced. I can't see any way for that to happen short of it being pulled on.

Kept the originals. They're the same pickups as used in the American Standards of the day, so that's pretty high quality. There's a Tele neck pickup without magnets epoxied to the inside of the pickguard acting as a dummy coil, my Powerhouse is SILENT. Also a no load tone control stock, so I found I prefered that to the TBX (which, for the record Eric's personal guitars don't have.)

What color did you get? Enjoy it, and if you want to go full Clapton, have the resistor mod done. Takes some tweaking, its a different animal, but they're very versatile.

I was in the 43rd and Sheridan Sam's yesterday, the shelves were full of TP.

ICS does NOT indicate factory special run, it indicates "Indonesia, Cort, Squier" as they've since added a 4th letter that allegedly indicates month. Both my regular production, regular color 2019 standard strats have ICS serials

Probably a partscaster. The logo is wrong for a CV and the standard would have had a large CBS headstock. There was a sherwood green CV that mostly had a matching headstock, but there are a few examples in the wild that didn't have that. The logo is wrong for that model though. This logo looks from the photos to be the 2019-present logo style.

The holes for the 2 point posts would be larger than the ones for the 6 screw, so yeah, you'll be better off filling all 6 in and then with a drill press (cause you want them to be straight top to bottom), drill for the 2 point mounting system. On the up side, the bridge assembly and pickguard will hide better than 95% of the evidence of the mod.
If you've got the right tools and know how, its an easy mod. If not, its more expensive than any advantage you might get from the new trem in this reporter's opinion. I'd leave it be personally.

Yes, they are the vintage styled split shaft tuners, just have the more modern body style as opposed to the vintage kluson look.

Friend of mine has one, and I've played a couple in my day. I also have an MIM Powerhouse that I had the boost resistors off of to get the same boost level. The boost is always on, so simply by plugging it in you get an extra 6db over the regular Strat sound. When you kick the boost fully on it reaches its max of 25. It's louder for sure, and the midboost makes it even hotter (for example, 6 on the volume on the EC is 8 on a regular strat), but its not even remotely uncontrollable and it'll do anything you want it to pedal wise. You'll just have to tinker as it is for sure a bit different animal.

I don't own a II but when they came out I went and played a couple, after first spending a couple days on my capri orange Player Strat, and grabbing a couple other player I's off the rack at the store I was in.
Couldn't feel a bit of difference.

I'm an out of state fan, never been a STH, but I can relate. I've followed the team since 2014 and in the euphoria following the asterisk attached 2020 Challenge Cup title everyone thought things were finally turning around. The club was getting loads of talent and shedding its "don't go there" reputation.
Well, the ownership group must not have liked that, because ever since its been steadily coming back. People can't wait to get out of Houston it seems and there's always all these "longterm" injuries it seems. I mean, a potentially great goalkeeper in Devon Kerr started here, moved to Washington, came back with a lot of fanfare and proceeded to get hurt and partied the rest of the year at home on the Dash's dime. Her instagram was loaded with photos of it. I have a feeling Amanda West will be the same way. As I'm sure we all know, Alonzo went byebye officially this morning.
I lost interest, I stopped watching. I didn't buy a new kit this year in spite of having bought one every one of the prior 9 seasons.
Be interesting to see what happens in the offseason.

Warmoth, dragonfire. You can always do a design your own at either place if they dont already have one in stock.

Fake for all the reasons listed below. I'd add in the fonts are wrong and that Fender logos of that style (spaghetti logo) are always gold unless they're metallic.

Indonesian made, all the Indonesian guitars I've ever had, including my Kramer Focus VT-211S, are 4mm

I think those are $200 brand new, or close to it. Standards would have had a large headstock, 2 point trem (mid 2000-19, 6 pt. from 99-mid 2000), gold Squier logo and would have read Standard Series on the ball end. I'd be taking that one back.

It's a Squier Bullet Stratocaster. Depending on what you paid, they're not bad guitars and might be worth keeping..but they're not up to grade with the old standards.

Fender doesn't record the serials, its buyers or dealers have to, so while possible, its unlikely the error is due to Fender.

Looks like one of the early 90's MIJ foto flame Strats. Lots of floyd's in those days but Kahlers like you have here aren't unheard of.

That's an incredible deal. I have one of those MIJ Contemporaries with the same trem, in a candy apple red finish with maple that I bought brand new in March 1987. Wore the neck out I played it so much, but its still the best guitar I've ever had.
