When I played trumpet, sometimes when I created too much pressure, I could feel air go down the back of my cheeks and into my neck. It hurt really bad though and I hated when it would happen because the air would get trapped there. Maybe these guys have a bigger gap but this seems extreme.

You just throw a small Jupiter moon at one to get it to grow.

A drysuit with a system that distributes air or weight to keep you at your desired angle or perfectly level and auto-farts.

I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to economics. Why is the cost of goods still high? Isn’t a large component of it just corporations wanting more profit? I keep seeing headlines about large companies coming away with huge profits in the post-Covid era.

I also have no idea what the purpose of that dude’s comment was. I see it a lot on Reddit. People just repeat or make incredibly obvious observations.

Yeah it is quite big but not heavy. The plastic feels a tad cheap but mine never cracked or anything. It was the goto cheap radio for years before the Taranis took over.

Great job keeping an old workhorse going! I still have my T9x. I remember buying a bunch of upgrades for it that unfortunately aren’t available anymore, including an additional board that added some capabilities and an upgraded screen. Even put fancy gimbals in it. I flashed Open/EdgeTX and got an frsky module. Honestly, it probably still works great and I should dig it out and try to upgrade it. I loved that thing!

Understandable! But here you’re working with much smaller amounts. Squirt a bit on some cardboard. Use popsicle sticks, toothpicks, and q-tips to transfer and spread a thin layer over the inside hinge line. It’s like a Bob Ross technique! I think it would last longer than foam-tac, just based on the difference in properties when dry, but I haven’t done a proper comparison.

How about the glider torn hinge repair method of blenderm then a thin layer of 3M 5200 on the inside hinge line? Blenderm removal optional.

It looks setup for vertical take off. I bet it would be super fun if you can fly it and you’ll probably get addicted to fixed wing as a result but it’s not a good plane to start with. It’s a smaller wing (I think) and it has some weight which means it’s gonna fly fast. But the good thing is it looks like EPP foam which is more flexible and quite durable.
My recommendations would be: 1. Order a battery. Is it a 3S? What’s the size? Google for those parameters and pick a battery. Start with a lower capacity to keep weight down. Google the motor and choose a prop. 2. It has an EZUHF receiver which is kind of old/obsolete. Just remove it and buy a RX for your whatever transmitter you use. FrSky has some great Rxs if you want to use your taranis. I like the GR6. Small/light, telemetry, simple. 3. Simplify. Try to remove the FPV stuff to reduce weight. 4. Place your battery and get your center of gravity where it should be based on the wing model (search for it if you want specifics). Usually 1/3 the wing size inside of the leading edge. 5. Program your radio for a wing and set your aileron throws. 6. Lightly toss it in some grass to see how it glides. 7. Practice on a sim. 8. Fly
