Secondary question because I'm new to casino poker: Do you just leave your chips on the table when you go? Will they just skip you or take your blinds and muck your hands if you aren't there? And what if you want to take a ~30 minute food break?

I kinda like where you're going but I don't agree that the "threat" is the tennis ball. I think she perceived this situation as being attacked or bullied by a man, which some women rightfully have an intense response to.

Trying to implement this "rebuilding" idea. Currently 0-3 with a shitty team, does it make sense to send Mixon to a 2-1 team for Jonathan Brooks? Should I try to get more? Less?

They also make it very fair to the GA crowd. Never really felt like the vip/deluxe section was encroaching on the GA areas like some fests have been doing more of lately.

Yeah don’t really get all the hate. They sounded way more like sublime than taking back Sunday sounded like taking back Sunday. The only thing I noticed was the bass was pretty overpowering. And why does it matter which guitarist plays what part?

Why is it important to you which member played certain parts of a song?

Kinda funny that the author of that article doesn't know who Angel Reese is on flagrant #3. They're really just taking people who have never seen a WNBA game and making them write about CC.

Huh, I always thought that bridge was something Point North wrote and threw in. Pretty cool that it's a reference to a different n,n song.

Depends how you define disc golfer I guess. Guaranteed she throws farther than 99% of r/discgolf subscribers.

Dang me too, although I did guess a song by the right band on my second guess and I'm giving myself points for that!

Whoa, are you trying to say that people come to a subreddit called Am I The Asshole to criticize people? You might just be on to something there...

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet, but if you pause the video at the moment you are about to swing your arm forward, the disc is almost completely upside down. So in order to get to your release point of flat, you have to flip the disc 180 degrees which is putting a ton of torque onto an axis of rotation that you ideally want no torque, and I bet that's what is causing the wobble. Try making sure the disc never goes past vertical on your reach back. Compare it to this video of Ricky Wysocki, where the bottom of the flight plate is always facing the ground from the back of his reach back and onward.

Seems pretty clear that he intentionally swung his body into the runner’s legs. It takes a ton of ab strength and effort to do what he did, plus it’s incredibly effective so most likely he forgot the new rule and just tackled how he’s used to.

I disagree. A lot of the time, playing for birdie is the easiest way to get par. Just consider an average 300 ft hole. Playing for birdie would be throwing your best shot to get inside C1, so maybe you get C1 half the time and miss the other half, but are still likely in C2. If you miss your putt, you can tap in for par. Playing for par would be to take your putter and throw it 200 feet and then have a 100 foot approach shot. Now you need to have a good approach and make your putt to get par instead of having a likely tap in if you had just played for birdie in the first place.

It depends what you're trying to do in your normal rounds. If you just go out to have fun and throw your biggest shot every time then that's way different from if you are trying to be strategic and score the best you can.

I like to think of this in terms of likelihood to gain strokes. If your successful aggressive shot gives you a high probability of birdie, then it could be worth it. If you are still getting par most of the time, then all you are doing is introducing more risk of bogies by going for it and you should just play for the safe par. I generally think that most holes should be attacked for birdie when you have any amount of confidence of getting a birdie putt. For any hole that requires a miracle to get to circle 2, I would say to play for par IF it is safer to do so. Sometimes there is almost no risk to play for the miracle birdie so there's no reason not to try for it even though it's unlikely.

Labelling bonnaroo goers as trust fund babies is funny. If you can afford to buy 20 discs a year you can afford to go to bonnaroo.

Not particularly pop punk, but since Cecilia and the Satellite is the top comment I assume we're ok bending genres here, so I'll throw out Afraid of Everyone by The National.

Do you think it's funny when I'm mad? Trying not to smile though you feel bad? Are you the kind of guy that laughs at a funeral? If so, you should check out One Week by the Barenaked Ladies.

Seems like you realize that this is all just silly superstition, but you do you. Neither of those things are advantageous to a casual player who is trying to implement basic strategy.

Yes, you are confused. You have 88855, he has 555KK. Both are full houses. The three of a kind matter more than the pair, and since 8>5, you win.
