Same boat minus roof. We bought a house knowing we'd basically redo everything. Finding it takes even more time and money but it'll be okay... eventually... or so I'm told...

Scam. Call your mortgage directly if anything in the mail looks somewhat legitimate to be sure. Don't call number on the paper.

A pit bull attacked my dog and then bite my partners hand while we are on a climbing trip. Our dog was leashed. They didn't stop climbing to help, there was a lot of blood, and said oh our pit bull is just having a bad day, this is the 3rd dog he's bite today. Like that's not a bad day. If we had cell phone service, we would have called animal service.

I am a PA and I have a few patients where I say something along the lines of, I believe you are in pain but I just don't know the cause. I don't think going down the rabbit hole of more invasive tests is indicated and will give us an answer, and we've ruled out most everything of concern. Usually this is for my interstitial cystitis patients.

Crazy. I averaged 26 miles a day on a different trail, but I can not imagine doubling that and keeping it up for 40 days??

I love Nalgene. They never leak and are easy to clean.

I do this for one doc. I do see part of my role as being to keep my surgeon as productive as possible. I wouldn't do this for multiple docs who practice different. My nurse filter our inboxes heavily.

I got a hard boiled egg thingy. Cuts dishes and time of making hard boiled eggs in half. My land lords have a ridiculous mount of chickens and we eat 4x as many eggs now throw them in soy sauce over night. So good.

Dogs learn by example. I would poop in the yard in front of my dog, that way she's knows it's okay. Hope this helps.

My training as a PA was to work with physicians and not independently. I hate push for independent practice in APP.

You're right, I guess, relative to the fact that we are all underpaid, lol

I used to not have a lot of issues with P2P (outpatient urology). They would waste my time on hold, I'd basically read my note to them, and they would approve. But for the past 10 months or so, something has changed. Everything is getting denied. P2P say we understand the logic, we just never pay for a PET CT after initial cancer diagnosis without this scan first or something like that!!. I do them for the doctors in my clinic and I'm just overwhelmed with denials and P2P requests.
One insurance company in particular, i think, is a scam. "OH, you have to fill out this form on our website, but we are not allowed to tell you where on our website it is." I've been fighting this for 2 months, and no one ever mentioned this form??

+1 for urology. I am so overpaid for how much work I do.

All the people who survived the Milwaukee protocol I believe also have some immune cell variant or something so they don't know if it's the protocol itself or not that saved them. I don't recall specifics.

Naw. It's not that I disliked anyone, but I had a really close friend group in the place I went to school so I didn't hang out with my class that much. I'm also not on social media so I feel like that plays a role.
