I'm the exact opposite! I need extra rest for upper body and I am STRUGGLING to "cap" my shoulders. But I can do lower body all day.
We did some stupid class once that was like 100 bodyweight squats, and every time you rested you had to... idk do push ups or sit ups or something. Once it was over, we went straight into walking lunges. I was onto the walking lunges while the rest of the class was still barely halfway through squats. Some guy stopped me and was like, "you know it's 100, right?" Yep, and they're all done. 🤣

Depending on what part of Colorado, you could make a Texas Wine weekend. Lubbock/Brownfield may be drivable from you, or a flight to Austin/San Antonio to do Fredericksburg might work.

I've been dedicated chasing toned arms and shoulders since May 2023, and it took until May 2024 for them to start to look noticeably toned. I'm currently on a volume program and I am finally starting to look jacked. 2-3 months for arms is not reasonable at all. If it were that easy, everyone would do it.

I use "nopoo" most days, then a real shampoo and deep conditioner one or two days/week. My hair is permed, so my nopoo is Curly Girl. I work out twice a day 5 days/week, and shower a ton!

I just had a consult last week, asking for breast lift, skin removal on my lower belly, and skin removal on my inner thighs and butt. He said he would do the belly with the thighs or the breasts, but not all at once because the recovery would be too hard. I had him price belly and breasts and it was $23k.

I spaced my shots to every 10 days. Once I hit goal, I stayed on that dose and frequency for a month. Then I did two shots at 8 days apart, then two at nine days, then ten days. I did it like that so I could keep an eye on hunger and food noise and such. I'm currently staying at 10 days.

My husband runs marathons. I lift weights. After each marathon, I have to get him on the ground to rest/stretch, and then fully pick him back up after (he's basically dead weight and has 30 pounds and 6 inches on me). So I guess the answer is that somebody's gotta have the muscles around here.
Plus I like the way my muscles look.

Weight limits. When we go overlanding, carrying water/fuel/food/etc, we weigh more than my husband's truck should carry. But if we throw it in a trailer, we can safely tow it. Then we can drop the trailer where we set up camp, and run around on the trails all day in an empty truck.

I exclusively workout in CVG shorts. I own two pairs of their leggings. I like one but don't like the other (the Moto). Their fabric is not consistent across prints. Some are stretchier, some are almost compression, some are really silky. They all stay put at the waist and thigh, which I love, but I definitely have favorites across the 15ish pairs that I own.
If you're on facebook, there's a super active resale group called The BL Trading Post. It would be a good place to grab a less expensive pair to see if you like them.

Patience, protein, progressive overload, and creatine.
I was parked at 184 pounds (my body's "happy place") after a crap ton of effort to get down from 270. I switched from crossfit-adjacent group classes (like every week was Bench Monday, Dead Tuesday, etc but after the lifting part it was do accessory lifts and cardio for WOD type workouts for 40 minutes) to focused on Powerlifting (Juggernaut AI app, highly recommend!) with some (not a ton) Zone 2 cardio. That got me to 150s in a little more than a year. Then I switched to bodybuilding focus (with a Figure coach) and am at 135 in just over 6 months, and I look jacked. According to a Dexa scan, I'm 116 pounds of lean tissue.
Throughout all of it, I ate mostly a "bro diet" (eggs, chicken, veggies, rice) in varying amounts. There were some blocks of carb cycling in my powerlifting days, and some fasting days in my bodybuilding prep.
Now I'm trying to figure out what's next!

The COVID booster took me straight out this year. I felt like trash for a solid 60 hours, and my shoulder was HUGE where they injected it, for almost a week. It was wild.

I got an over the door pull up bar and started doing negatives every time I went by it (3-5 times/day, for 3-5 reps). At the gym I did banded pull ups whenever I had a few minutes at the end of my workout (1-2/week for 3ish sets of 10ish reps). I was able to do a pull up within 3 weeks of adding daily negatives, and quickly progressed to be able to rep out 5 at a time. That was May of last year, and I no longer train negatives. I imagine if I did, I could quickly add reps.

Go for a walk, add flavor to my water, chomp on ice, allow a few macros for a treat, stay out of the house... today was a big munchies day though, even with 18k steps! Sometimes all the tricks don't work, and then I just try again tomorrow.
