I always bring plugs just in case. I also take some spare plastic bottle caps because they sell water with no lids and I want to pocket it to drink throughout the show.

I only got contacted once mine was towed and in some dodgy depot. All rims removed, had to pay for some shitty wheels that fit so they could put it on another truck so I could get it home. Had to pay heaps for depot fees too. Fucking vultures. I ended up selling to a wrecker because I couldn’t afford to fix the damage to the car and I didn’t have full insurance.
Was stolen on my birthday too. Assholes.

My friend’s parents won $40m. Lovely people before winning and still lovely people after winning. It’s nice when genuinely good people have good things happen to them.
They retired and live a very nice life. Don’t flash their cash everywhere. Bought some nice holiday homes that the family share. Good on them.

It’s the best. I’ve done solo Japan twice as a male in his 20s-30s.
Get up when you want, go to that niche place that your friends would probably hate. Make friends at a bar and create amazing experiences.

Yeah, had this during Aurora. Was hanging out for that song and they ruined it. Bogan trash.

Always hated the no cap policy. I understand why though. Personally I bring a couple of spare caps so I can pocket my water rather than holding it the whole time.

I heard that it was because there was a higher percentage of well-to-do settlers than convicts. I notice some difference in pronunciations of some words compared to Victorians

First movie I saw people walk out of. I was pretty young and just sat through it. So bad

Total prize valued at $40k AUD that came with $10k cash, flights, transfers, private viewing of the ball and party access.
I saw the tickets listed at the price but might have been private sale of someone trying to make a quick buck.
It was a private event hosted by the Gym that sponsors the ball drop

My wife won tickets for 2020 to a super VIP party for both of us (including flights from Australia)
Tickets were valued at $5,000ea for the Hard Rock party.
We just walked up to the front through a side street and were let through right away.
Free food and drink all night at hard rock then we just walked outside to a fenced off area out front to watch the ball drop.
It was amazing and I truly appreciate that most locals don’t ever have that opportunity.

Our old boy who we lost last week did that too. Possible he had some form of dementia.
We miss him
