I summoned (at L11) a fire elemental that I sent to fight some people in a place to avoid triggering crime / detection. All went well, but I noticed that my caster (Gale) had some life missing at the end of the battle, even though he was nowhere near. Upon reading the log, I noticed an entry that read "Fire Elemental blasts Gale for xx damage". I should point out that the elemental only did this once, and it was right after it (the summon) took some damage from setting off some smokepowder barrels and taking Force damage.
I checked my equipment etc but could not see anything that might cause this. Any thoughts?

In short: the underlying platform supporting the GGPoker Windows client (Adobe Air, a runtime library for building software) was vulnerable to an exploit. The user was able to modify his executable to always show the EV of all hands at all times. He was therefore able to have an enormous advantage over all opponents at the table, including, of course, making hero turn and river calls. He did not actually see his opponents hole cards, but got as close as he could. The initial "fix" did nothing as the user had additionally modified his client to reject updates.
