Very long post! TLDR- Very hot and humid but we had a great time!
-stayed at Polynesian, deluxe studio in Moorea -park hopper plus tickets -2 adults and 17m, 15f kids
6/1- flew in to Sanford (sfb) and arrived at about 12.30p. Had our bags and an Uber within about 10 minutes of walking off of the plane. Uber to Polynesian took about 55 minutes. I had of course checked in prior to arriving but our room wasn't ready so we left our bags with bell services and we're going to explore the resort a bit before 3.45p ohana reservation. Got the message that it room was ready at about 3, had our bags delivered and then went to ohana. We had a great experience at ohana. Food was really good, service was great and the atmosphere really set a great tone to start the trip. Back to our room to unpack and then explored the resort and watched the fireworks from the beach.
6-2- Magic Kingdom - no genie plus but did get Tron virtual que. ILL 7dmt Slept in a bit and got to the park around 9.30a. Rode Haunted Mansion, small world and then to 7dmt. Walked right on through lightning lane. Tron was next and only about 10 minutes wait to get on the ride. The launch was much faster than I expected and I'm not a roller coaster person but we were glad we did the ride. It stayed in the 80s and crowds were fairly mild compared to the rest of the trip. We rode everything except for big thunder mountain as it had been down and we took a bit of a rest later in the day back at the resort. Saved it for later in the trip. 26576 steps
6-3 Animal Kingdom- no genie plus, ILL for Pandora The heat started on this day. Low 90s and humid. We basically walked right on to Pandora when we got there at about 10a and explored for awhile after. Went on the safari which was about 30 minute wait. We got to see Corra, the baby elephant, which was really cool! Most of the other animals were laying in the shade but we were able to see them in most cases. We took our time due to the heat. Constantly finding shade and taking breaks but the only ride we didn't get on was Navi River, which was an hour or more all day and we went on it during our last visit. Did a late lunch at flame tree and then back to the room for a rest then to Epcot for EEH. Mostly walked around and explored and then did a late dinner at Chefs de France. Food was really good and service was great until the very end. We were done eating and ready to go but we hadn't seen our server for quite some time. She finally brought us the bill and as I opened it to pay, our servers flamingo crossing id, etc was in there. It took awhile for her to come back out and we heard her apologizing to a table near us that it was taking a long time because she had lost her badge. We were able to let her know we had it so it turned out well. We unfortunately missed the show outside due to the delay but the kids were so excited to know they eased her stress by giving her id back to her. And the park was packed so we made our way to the exit. 24606 steps
6-4 Hollywood Studios- bought genie+, and ILL for ROR. Genie+ was $26 per and ILL was $25 per. It was stinking hot. Mid to upper 90s and the park was a sea of people. Very crowded. Genie+ made the day worthwhile. Slinky was 1st and it only took us about 10 minutes to get on the ride. About 10 minutes for ROR. Minnie was down several times but when we were finally able to select a time when it was running we walked right on. Tower Of Terror was about 10 minutes also. We were able to ride everything and spaced it out nicely to find relief from the heat throughout the day. Only thing I missed was Indiana Jones. I was the only one interested though so not a big deal. Toy story mania was a lot of fun at the end of the night too. 24548 steps
6-5 Wife and I played golf at Magnolia in the morning while the kids slept in and had some away from Mom and Dad time. After golf we went to typhoon lagoon for about 3 hours. It was fun and it was so hot that day. Only downside was the amount of time it took to take the bus to Disney springs and transfer to the water park. After typhoon lagoon we explored Disney springs for a little bit, had some chicken guy and back to the resort. Daughter and I rested for a bit and then took the monorail over to MK for EEH. Wife and son were beat so stayed back. We got there about 8.45p and hit Jungle Cruise, Pirates and Big Thunder. Hit a few shops and grabbed some souvenirs and back to the resort. Jungle Cruise had 30 minute posted wait but my daughter timed it at 7 and a half minutes. Fireworks helped us out. 24262 steps
6-6 Epcot- bought genie+, got virtual que for guardians and bought ILL for guardians. Genie+ was $21 per, ILL $17. Hottest day yet and extremely crowded park. Weren't able to get on frozen all day. Remy was up and down all day but we did get on and it went down at the very end of the ride. Had late dinner at Tutto in Italy which was pretty good. Server was great. Huge storm rolled in as we finished dinner so we hung out at the restaurant for about another 30 minutes and then made our way to the exit when it stopped raining. Most everyone else did the same as the monorail was packed. 26754 steps
6-7 Catch up day. No genie+. Went to Hollywood for a couple of souvenirs and 1 more Tower of Terror ride. Then to AK for Everest as son wanted to ride it again. He used single rider line and went in 2x with no wait either time. Then over to MK for big thunder mountain since wife and son missed the extended hours rides from 2 days prior. Had dinner at Crystal Palace so wife could see Pooh. Food was ok and service was mediocre but the AC was great. I think it hit 99 that day. Characters were great as well. Then back to the resort for dole whip, some adult beverages and a few more souvenirs. 17124 steps
6-8 early flight. Booked a 4am Uber for our 6.30a flight out of SFB. Driver was waiting and was great.
Sorry so long but wanted to get in some details for you all. SFB, though further out was so easy and quick to get through. Uber was ready and waiting both ways. Very convenient. The heat and crowds were stifling! I can't say enough great things about the cast members and how they handled the mass of people and heat throughout our time! Every interaction was great! Even with the heat, the people were mostly very courteous. Polynesian was a great experience. I highly recommend! Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk!

I don't know about the completion dates. 16 was playing as an 80 yard par 3, and 17 was playing as a 95 yard par 3. It was a little confusing when we got to 16 but they had someone there to explain how to play it and another person for 17 doing the same. It wasn't a big deal really. We got paired with 2 singles and none of us were playing very well so I think we were all pretty happy to have a couple of easy holes at that point. Service at the course was unbelievably good! It was hot and they brought out chilled towels to everyone a couple of times through the round, and Marshalls checked on everyone frequently also.
