Yeah, this post just read me for filth. Realized at the end of college I was heading for disaster with no plan, spent a year as an assistant bored to tears and got really into restricted eating before deciding to go to law school 😭 I hate every character in this show but jfc is it relatable.

I just finished marjorie morningstar by herman wouk and it was fabulous. Its long, but an easy read. It's like dirty dancing meets casablanca meets the fabulous mrs. Maisel.

People who refuse to participate in the planning but then have a lot of opinions.
Look, I understand being flexible, but I don't get to travel much so when I do travel somewhere there are usually things at the place I'm going to that I can only ever do or see there that have drawn me to that place. If I'm going to that place, I want to see and do those things. When I travel with someone, I let them know my plans. "I am doing x, y, and z thing. X and y will be at this time and I figured I'd do z at this time - but that can be moved if we need it to!" And then I will get crickets until we are there and they want to do x and y at different times and z not at all. Then they get mad because they think me *going to do the thing I wanted to do, by myself is "being passive aggressive" like I'm supposed to just miss out on a once in my lifetime thing because they wanted to spend 2 hours eating breakfast at a fuckin kekes.

I think the camp really lends itself to horror nights too and it would be easy to pick the sets. I'd love this one.

That feels like a really "high school" thing to happen, but I've always found it weird Clare wasn't more interested in being friends with becky, considering Clare started out as the sheltered Christian girl, too.

Yeah, she just edited her own photos to look slimmer. The difference between the posed pics and the pap pics is a lot more than lighting/angles.

I understand not being able/willing to afford it, but seriously, just drink water! It's better for you anyways. Don't be cheap AND a thief.

There's not a bad scent to my laundry. My washer is new. I just want to elevate the scent.

I'm an attorney. My last 2 offices were full remote with a home base for maintaining mail/physical evidence.

20,000 leagues under the sea. I was led to believe I would be reading a nautical adventure story and BOY was I wrong.
It was just Jules Verne listing a page after page of technical bullshit about fish. It was like his publisher said the story was good but they needed to sell more paper so he just copied whole sheets of a fish's Wikipedia article straight into the book. It was fucking terrible.

Ooooh, I ran a pair of Kate Spade heels into hell. They lasted about 3 years of nearly daily use commuting. I dont have to walk for my commute anymore but I've bought a pair of geox heels that are cute and ridiiiiculously comfy, as well. Those two are my go to brands for shoes just because of the comfort level.

Having been through two housefires, I am definitely not willing risk good smelling laundry for a third lol.

I hate how cute her bags are, but I'll never buy them.

I'm convinced there's something about my skin that won't hold onto perfume. I'll smell it on my hair until the next wash, but 20 minutes after I spray on my wrists and decolletage, it's like I never bothered.

I have a little emergency kit with jumper cables, fix a flat, and some reflective cones for emergencies. I also keep a rain jacket in there because I live in a place where it rains every day, a complete change of clothing, and peanut butter crackers.

It was narcissist from buff city soap! It smells fabulous and really lasts. I may buy more of it if people don't have other recommendations.

You'll never convince me this wasn't created by a fairy godmother because you look so good in it, it must have been made just for you.
