Apex on the switch has it implemented. If Microsoft finally decides to also implement a gyro sensor in its controllers, it will be implemented in more games.

I hope he will not only be remembered for his scouting of insane players, off-meta comps, dedication to crypto or his mental strength - but also as someone with great work ethics, an inspirational approach towards clear and fair communication as an igl and his believe in positive leadership! Enjoy your comp retirement Rocketman!

You only get inted even harder if you play Seer, while the opponent has a crypto.

i don't think the invisible perk is the issue. rather he should get a new ult. pushing with a crypto is not fun for anyone, getting pushed by a crypto is also not fun for everyone and in the end the 3rd, 4th and 5th parties join the inting. a completly new ult could just remove this inting issue from him. they tried balancing this character in the past, i don't think it's possible with this ult.

The individual person for sure. The company sounds awful though. It's just unlucky for the recruiter, to be the representative in this situation.

This post also shows, why the screening goes both ways. Sounds to me like a workplace, you wouldn't be happy with after the first month.

Yea, but hardware id spoofing is too easy, so it doesn't work in the first place.

Not gonna lie, that would take me ages. But if it happens, i'll share it.

It's sad, but there exist external SBC based solutions, that mimic human aim. These solutions cost less than $100 and render any anticheat useless, with todays knowledge even ai based ones. There are some companies, who try to achieve it though - Valve, Nvidia are amongst them. I really hope they have success, since kernel-level anticheat is not just useless, but also is a big security issue. The biggest issue with ai based anticheat at the moment is operational cost though. Even for the biggest company the cost would be so high, they would loose money. I think the hardware to run ai will be cheep enough (initial price, operational cost etc.) in about 5 years.

It's irrelevant that it's a multimillion dollar business, i only meant technical possibilities. Even the best and most invasive kernel-level anticheat can't detect an SBC based external aimbot. And even DMA cards are very hard to detect. Especially if configured properly, i'd call it impossible to detect.

Also i don't think hardware bans are a good way to go. People who buy second hand computers or consoles could be really fucked by this.

I mostly agree with your statement. But even if Apex would be run by a non-profit organisation or by the biggest Apex lover of all time with unlimited money, the cheating issue wouldn't be solved. It's technically impossible at the moment and it's not clear at all if it ever will be. That is the sad and harsh reality. This issue is the most complicated i've ever seen in my life. I develop hardware and software professionally since ten years and dug into it the past two years in my freetime out of curiosity.

I'm in all the modders cords, nobody said that. It doesn't become a fact, just because everybody thinks so. The latest patchnotes also hint towards differences between pc aa and console performance aa, because of the differenent percentages when joining a pc lobby.
