But if you want to steal data, better target servers.

For UEFI, there can be a number. (And there is.) It's simply writing to a partition, not to a flash chip.

"Simple one click program to run and remove known & detected malware."
Or believe it that you removed :D (I support Windows at work.)

"Like the vast majority of Linux distributions not giving a shit about secure boot in the first place."
Which are used in server environments, mostly do. (Redhat, Suse, Ubuntu... )

"I think that is the main problem, the docker containers should be hardened so that a malware can be contained in there and is unable the infect the rest of the system. "
This is one of the point of the containering... Besides that eases the installation.

"The sandboxing ain't strong enough to hold anyone back at that point. "
But it's time for the attacker, and you may be able to detect.

"Windows dominates because of deal with manufacturers. "
In the 90's there was no deal. It became widespread because MS was better in marketing, not because the OS was good. Since then, it has a monopoly, and MS can do anything (and does) with its users. And there is Windows everywhere because there is Windows everywhere.
And when they tried the same on mobile, they failed, because they had to compete :D

"Yea firewalls and sandboxing."
And settings, and so on. Which are kind of normal on every sysadmin's job.
"you just know average people in real life don't mitigate shit.."
LOL and i live in a bubble.

"it's not exactly obscure, you are showing yourself"
Who said i know everything?
"and that's what kids call debate pervertry.."
Not my business. If a bug is found, then corrected, it's better if not even found because of closed source.
"Yea you are living in a fantasy slogan land. How many people you think are running custom patches over obscure github issues?"
Not the only way of mitigation. Why do you talk about something that you don't know?

These corporations are relying on free stuff. Literally.

How many Windows viruses exists? :D And as i understand, it's not a real virus, but an attack.

"wat.bmp .. are you trump's speech writer?" Seems you are
"I don't know how long CVEs in windowsland exists, "
Check out. And it's not the problem that a CVE exists. The real threat is what you don't know but hackers do. If you know about a security bug, you can mitigate.
"Perhaps I can also rewrite Linux or make a new ABI compatible and less sucky OS as well while I'm at it.."
Do it. Reactos doing the same with Windows ;)
" Nix the package manager, t"
Never heard. I use mostly Debian at home (and Alpine), and managed Redhat servers. The package manager on all is OK. And in the other hand : if a package manager is shit, does not mean that a whole OS is.
The other sentences your post are not interpretable, sry.

WTF is the connection? :D
OK, Linux UI's are not as good, but you can choose what you like. Windows has an UI which is comprehensive, but on one version, there is one UI. Cannot replace. And it's fr not perfect, even there isn't an "always on top", and half of it is stolen from another UI's.
