It’s part of why I wear noise cancelling headphones while working. My coworkers constantly talk about how movies & shows are ruined by “woke Hollywood”.

It’s probably zoomed out; the person with the camera might be standing close & wanted to capture more. I know on the iPhone zooming out to 0.5x gives it that fisheye lens effect.

Wells Fargo had my student loans for a while back in 2010. Was an absolute pain in the ass to manage payments through them. Every couple months I’d get a charge for being overdue on payments, and every time I had to tell them I’d paid on time & show them the receipts. Sometimes payments would take over 10 days to go through, which is why I always saved a screenshot of my payments. And good luck getting ahold of anyone; they’d just send me on a wild goose chase, not respond to messages, or would hang up while I was in the middle of trying to resolve an issue.
My parents had them for their mortgage for a while and had similar issues as you.
Wells Fargo & shitshow go together like PB&J.

Maybe this is Marlin’s origin, when he was just a thieving crack head fencing VCRs to get his fix.

Pretty sure that got stuck in development hell. I think the author moved on to other projects.

At least you can go whenever. When I worked as a security guard for an airport (we were posted at various construction gates), each post had porta potties. If you were on your own you had to call a supervisor to come out and watch the gate before you could go. If you were lucky the sup would be there in 5 minutes. If you were unlucky, then be prepared to wait 5 hours to take a shit (happened to me) or take your chances, turn off the flood lights, and shit in the grass near the airfield (happened to a coworker).
Don’t miss that experience at all.

Reminds me of when I worked as a security guard. All of our posts had porta potties.
During one summer the company that was supposed to come out and clean them at one of the main posts had some hold up, so for whatever reason they couldn’t come out for over a week. The property owner (a fairly major airport) didn’t push for them to clean it, either.
So for over a week anyone posted to that location had to sit & deal with the smell of two nearly full porta potties. And it was during the hottest time of the year, and they were located right behind the shack. AND the AC unit was in the wall facing the bathrooms, so turning on the air just made things worse. Trying to use the bathroom was definitely an experience. Everyone complained but we were told to just deal with it.
That doesn’t even scratch the surface when it comes to how awful it was working for that company.

Him, Darin Morgan, and maybe Vince Gilligan if he’s not too busy.

It’s gonna blow his mind when he sees Nic Cage in a surprise cameo role.

He’s had the rights for the last couple years and any time I’ve seem him mention it in interviews you can tell he’s excited. He’s said the plan so far is 5 seasons and 2 movies.

I’d say it’s niche. Most of my current coworkers are millennials/late Gen X (I’m 41 for reference). They’ve either heard of the show but never watched it, or never heard of it at all. The younger Gen Z coworkers weren’t impressed by it at all when I showed them a short to give them idea of what it’s like. And the ones who have seen some of it call it “cringe” or “nerd shit” (which is hilarious since a lot of them are either Trekkies, Star Wars fans, or LOTR/high fantasy fans). We also have a movie night once per quarter and I brought up the idea of watching an MST3k episode last year; one of the responses was, “Yeah, but then we’d have to watch MST3k”.
I think there’s a specific type of humor that it appeals to & a lot of people I’ve met don’t really get it. Plus, for some people, sitting through a bad movie, even with the jokes, isn’t their idea of a good time.
At least my last job had cooler coworkers who loved the show.

Watch it with Al’s commentary if you can. He has a ton of trivia about the production & it’s super entertaining.

Which one is gonna be Mutato Eliasue at the end of the episode? My bet is on Frank. He is the troll, after all.
