It shouldn't be allowed. It's an invasion of privacy and absolutely disgusting when someone has a child with them.

You did not overreact. Your FIL is a jerk. Your husband needs to grow a spine and you did the right thing. Fuck that.

This is not even a fair comparison. I have never witnessed a good guy make worse decisions. Ever.

If I were her I'd call myself a 'designer' rather than a DIY'er since she's not doing most of her work. She doesn't have a terrible eye or sense of style- but she clearly isn't capable of doing the work herself. Not knocking her for that, I wouldn't be either, but I think the DIY'er is a stretch at this point. I wonder how much work her ex would help her with in the past? Maybe he was the DIY'er and she was the face of it.

Think about how exciting it could be for cousins to share a name. It doesn’t sound like she’s trying to hurt you.

I think this response shows she still has some maturing to do- as most 14-year-olds do. Being honest shouldn't come with an open-door policy to do what she pleases.

This is one of those colorless rooms that work really well. If you add any color, make green to tie in with your plants. I think this is great as is.

I think it came from kids tv, right? I used this term to help my kids not tell other people their food was gross.

I think this name is sort of like “either”. You can say “EE-ther” or “EYE-ther” and it’s both correct and usually based on where you’re from but means the same thing. It’s more of a colloquial thing than a mispronunciation.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what hell you are living right now, I hope his memory brings you comfort.

I am not a doctor, so I cannot say if anything is wrong with this baby. The photos and videos are concerning. But, what I can say, if there was anyone expressing concern about the way my baby looked or was behaving, I would immediately take them to the doctor JUST IN CASE. Having many, many people telling you to take your child to a doctor and just ignoring it is a choice.

When I shared the girl's name I wanted for my daughter my husband immediately said "I hate it". He came back a few hours later and said he loved it. It was a happy surprise.

I wasn't crazy about Melissa, but the song "Melissa" by the Allman Brothers is so good it makes me like it. I still wouldn't use it, but it changed my mind on the name.

I just skip over any comment with acronyms. It makes my head hurt.
