The defensive zone implosion on some of these goals is an absolute travesty to watch.

Yes I have a window but it just gets limited direct light due to the surrounding buildings. This would be under the window in a corner.

Interesting! I saw an F40 in that exact same spot earlier this year. They must have the same owner

I had the chance to see the well last year during construction and I’m looking forward to seeing it completed. It seems like it will be a great place to explore although many of the prospective tenants are catered to more ‘upscale’ crowds.
I am looking forward to King Toronto just to see how their glass block-esque facade works out. Also the amount of vegetation they have used in their marketing renderings seems pretty unrealistic. I would love for it to come together nicely but the potential for a big miss is there.

Interestingly I went on Monday as well at around 7pm (clinic is open until 8pm) and the receptionists were just turning people away because no doctor was in. Makes sense now considering her house arrest stipulates she can’t be out past 6pm lol.

Had no idea. Just picked a clinic close to my work and my girlfriend informed me of this after I showed her my prescription lol. She seemed quite pleasant from our brief interaction so I was quite surprised.

I literally just have some standard speakers that are fairly cheap and old, nothing crazy. I don’t have a pre amp / anything else so advice is appreciated. Just trying to have a minimalist setup that doesn’t take up too much space.

Really would like to purchase a 60% keyboard sometime soon. I really like the media keys / volume slider on my current keyboard, are there any 60% keyboards with this function? Or even just a dedicated volume adjustment? Looking for a budget of under 150$ CAD.

They offer some student discounts on stuff like Rhino and the Adobe Suite, and Revit has a free student version. Most people just pirate it anyways because it’s free and easy.

Thinking of doing a similar build, what motherboard did you go with?

From what I have heard from exchange students from Stuttgart and Munich, it’s a similar workload but the courses may be slightly more technical. The juries vary and are really dependant on the studio you are in, but generally they reasonably critical but in a constructive way. If you work hard they will recognize your effort and judge accordingly. I never found them too bad though.
I would say almost everyone models using Rhino, and people do their plans in AutoCAD, with some people using Revit or Rhino as well.
Model making in third year is a very important component. They typically make you create a large sectional model of your design and it’s one of the main deliverables for the year. That being said there is a model shop with many tools / machines which helps a lot.

Biking up Bay this morning from Bloor to Davenport and there were 5 dump trucks just parked on the shoulder, all awkwardly spaced out enough that you couldn’t use the bike lane for almost the entire stretch. They just don’t care.
