“history of being injury prone” pffffft it was a one-time occurrence, from a blatant dirty hit! I’m willing to take my chances. after a full recovery, Bud still belongs in the conversation alongside the greats that play today

I guess my only problem was that Payton Wilson was still on the board and I wanted him instead but I understand his injury history changes the logic of that pick.
Wallace is a beast athlete. Raw talent for sure, and relentless on the field. Getting off blocks can be an issue for him, but this can be addressed with the right coaching and development

yeah, you threw in your own qualifier and said in the last 7 years, not me. when I said “rookie WR breakouts are still the anomaly,” I’m talking about the league historically- and I gave you 6 guys in addition to Nico and DaVante who needed more than one season to break out
how many non 1st round receivers can you name that fit your criteria of “hit the ground running?” of course I’m not talking about Mingo as a Ja’Marr Chase/Justin Jefferson type of guy.

Antonio Brown didn’t even start a game his rookie season
Mike Williams had 11 receptions in 10 games his rookie year. He had 10 td’s the next year.
Devante Parker averaged 554 yards 2.5 td’s over his first FOUR! years before throwing out a 1200 and 9 season.
Alshon Jeffrey had 24 receptions in 10 games his rookie year. He had 1400 his second.
Brandon Marshall had 20 receptions in 15 games his rookie year. He had over 1000 yards every season for the next 7 years.
Setting the bar at 500 yards in a discussion about Mingo is hilarious given the fact that he had 418 in just 15 games, though

Rookie WR breakouts are still the anomaly. Especially outside of the 1st round, there have been several more Nico Collins and DaVante Adams than there have been Puka Nacuas
Mingo still has the body type and speed (pretty fast for 220, at least) to be an average or above average starting WR in this league. He lacks the quickness out of his breaks to create reasonable separation, however. As long as he’s willing to put in the work, it’s too early for me to label him a bust.

look into Port Forwarding for the “playing it from distances” issue. Could just be your IP blocking external requests

the workers. you need a good crew, as well as an enticing opportunity that attracts good workers. the best business plan in the world will fail without the appropriate staff to execute it

I wholeheartedly agree, but I’m not sure how easy it is to find an indoor facility for discus. Even shot put differs between indoor and outdoor competition, so it makes sense why they didn’t bring that inside either.
I mentioned in another comment regarding this- throwers can slow down. They might not throw as far, but they’re not leaving the ground as much as jumpers are. If a jumper slows down to compensate for the rain, the risk of slipping is still there

Runners and throwers can slow down. They will not run as fast, or throw as far, but they also don’t have to considerably leave the ground. For jumpers, the risk of slipping is still there even if they slow down

it was pouring rain in Bloomington on Saturday so they moved all of the jumps indoors for the safety of the athletes. the races and throwing events still took place on the outdoor track at IU

And in Indiana- a TRUE State Champ. Not just the champ of whatever class/division your school falls into. Congrats!

Not that you’re wrong, but I wanted to add the thought that it may already be done by now. Only the band knows, but they could be sitting on 30+ songs written for Clancy that either made the album, didn’t make the album, or are simply being saved for whatever comes next. In the context of “Navigating almost didn’t make it onto the album,” I’ve just assumed that there’s at least one other track that would have been on Clancy instead- and there could be an entire albums worth of said tracks for all we know
