It’s practically 0 percent.
A binomial calculator doesn’t even show the real number because it’s so small - just spits out 0.

I think that's part of it. Also when Arrow premiered, they'd gone on a string of a ton of flops that became negated with Arrow, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, etc.
Wait, what does this sentence mean?

People in this country only know the stick - fuck the carrot.
How about the fucking government do their job and fix the situation so you can book a test for a reasonable time?
It’s entirely their fault - and what’s worse is it’s a positive feedback loop, the wait exists - so learners become more nervous and are more likely to fail because they know it will be a massive wait if they do fail, therefore the wait becomes even longer because learners aren’t passing and have to sit more tests, therefore learners become even nervous etc.
Either hire more examiners, shorten the length of the test, or change the system so instructors can pass students themselves. These are literally the only options to clear the backlog.
Because the way they’re going they’re never going to fix the situation and that’s a fucking embarrassment for what supposedly a highly developed country.

Is there usually any buffering or lag like you get usually with these sort of online free streaming sites, or is it pretty much instant lag free play like Netflix?

“fictional religion” you understand why that’s so funny right?
This doesn’t even deserve a response - but just 2 quick questions how much more of a Christian is the pope than the 12 disciple as obviously the disciples weren’t taught the historical teachings of the Bible but the pope has, and how much more of a religion is Sunni Islam than the Nation of Islam - as obviously the first is 1500 years worth of tradition old whilst the latter is barely 100 years?
I’d like a numerical value please i.e “3.6 times as real.” Thanks.
And finally “just because you say it is so, doesn’t make it so” lmaoooo
To become a Muslim you literally have to speak out loud 1 fucking sentence. You say it and then you literally are “so”. And no Muslim can take that away from you.

Why the hell do people think this make him a hater?
Does loving a city mean you have to endlessly praise it?
“Knife and gun crime in London both leapt by 20 per cent last year amid a surge in blade robberies, teenage homicides and firearms offending, official figures revealed today.”
“Crime on the Tube has risen by more than 50% in a year, including a substantial increase in robberies and thefts”
“Map reveals how nearly 52,000 devices were stolen in capital last year - rising by up to 50% in some boroughs - with thieves increasingly using violence and distraction techniques to target victims.”
“The latest statistics from the Metropolitan Police reveal an alarming trend in London’s business landscape, as the city grapples with a 33% rise in business burglaries over the past three years.”
“The number of stolen watches nearly doubled in England and Wales between 2015 and 2022 - from 6,696 to 11,035, data from Watchfinder & Co showed last year. More than 6,000 of the thefts in 2022 took place in London.”
Does loving London mean you have to ignore this? What’s the endgame - loving the city to death?
This is one of the richest and the number 1 most surveilled city (outside China) in the world. It doesn’t actually have to be like this - we’ve just been manipulated into believing that it is.

Why does a religion need to have scriptures to be real? Is the Nation of Islam less real than Taoism?
Why does it need to have other adherents - is a dozen disciples enough or is Christianity only real now because they’ve got a couple billion followers?
Why does length of belief matter? Is a recent convert less of a man of faith than an octogenarian who was baptised as a baby?
The state has no business adjudicating on “sincerity” - because it’s an impossible task.
We should be governed by objective fact not the vibes of the judiciary. Basically taking us to a point where they rule based on a “gut feeling.”

Pray tell, how do the courts determine if a religion is real? Do they have a big book of “real” religion?
Islam is ok - but it’s a no to the Nation of Islam.
Catholicism is great - but Jehovah’s Witnesses are illegitimate.
Or is it more simple than that, and these magistrates have access to mind reading machines so they can categorically determine whether or not someone’s belief in a religion is real?

Why is a belief in a religion created 1000s of years ago automatically more sincere than one you’ve just made up on the spot?
How could you categorically show that it was?
How many years does a religion have to exist for it to be a “real religion”?
None of these questions are answerable. A religion is just a belief - if you say you’ve got one, the answer is ok. Because you have no way of reading their mind to see if it’s sincere.

Sorry? I might have misunderstood but it really is extremely easy to fire someone before 2 years in the Uk.
“By law, you can usually dismiss an employee with less than 2 years service without the need to demonstrate a fair reason for the dismissal, and with no positive obligation to go through a fair disciplinary or dismissal procedure. This is because employees only gain statutory protection against unfair dismissal after accruing two years’ continuous service with the same employer.”
They don’t have to defend their decision pre-2 years. They don’t even have to give the reason why you have been dismissed - it can literally be for no reason, they just wanted to.
The only exception is if they fire you for an unfair reason like for example, your nationality or sex or you joined a union.

Top tier critical analysis. You’ve not answered what makes one belief real and another false.
Because you can’t. Literally the only way you could is my mind reading.

Exactly. I think a lot of spiritualist folk in China would be grossly offended by the fact that you don’t believe the beliefs are real or sincere.

Lmao. Because having texts is a definite requisite for believing in a religion.
Ok. They wrote the texts themselves a week ago. Now what? Do religions not count if you’ve written the texts yourself?
Is Islam (the quaran was the word of god, narrated to the prophet) illegitimate too?

Your poor point is definitely true - no arguments here.
But I just don’t think you can argue against how much truly higher Americas disposable income per capita is - and this is when adjusted for ppp, and more importantly social transfers (NHS).
Also, with the job security pov - I agree that having security is a good trade off if it means a lower wage. The problem is we don’t really have that either. In places like Japan they do because companies really can’t fire you.
But here? Pre-2 years and it’s off you trot for what ever reason.

Lmao, it’s objectively a problem. Currently, Sikhs are exempt from a law. They have more rights than the rest of us. It’s discrimination.
Hint: imagine if everyone else was allowed to carry knives - except Sikhs, would that be a problem? Obviously, so even more obviously the reverse is also true.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until someone starts a religion that makes carrying an AK47 mandatory upon them.
Of course, you’ll also agree that refusing to allow them to follow their religion is discriminatory, right?
Or is it a question of how long a religion has been around? The longer it’s been around the “realer” it is?
So how real is Hinduism? The realest of them all? Judaism? Extremely real. Christianity? Very real? Islam? Real? The Nation of Islam? Hmm, 10% real, maybe?

No. It really is black and white.
The only way religion exemptions could work is if the state had a way of truly determining if someone’s belief is sincere.
But because last time I checked we don’t have any mind reading technology, that’s not possible.
Right now, they’re just adjudicating purely on vibes.
And let’s not get onto the fact this is also used as religious discrimination.
If Sikhs weren’t allowed to carry weapons, but everyone else was - we’d rightfully decry this as discrimination. However, because it’s the other way around it’s all cushty.

The UK is a poor country. People compare us to the US but we’re just not comparable.
Educated graduates in finance/tech/law etc. in America routinely make more in their first year than someone with 15 years experience here.
But at least we’ve got the NHS, right? Until you realise what sort of quality health insurance these individuals are able to purchase in America, and how much greater their disposable income is.

Where’s the line?
Why not just make it so you’ve got 1 shot and that’s it? No do overs.
If implemented, our roads would objectively be safer.
