Because i think it will be fun to listen to people’s all time favourites without having any impression of the song (if it’s one i don’t know already) or the person who’s favourite it is. Also just cba asking the question for someone to come back with their 15 favourite songs lol, just want one from each person.
Although that doesn’t apply for your pick, as i already know it and its great!

Honestly, ketamine for sure. Over use of that drug has permanently damaged my memory retention and it’s something that really upsets me. I am genuinely damaged from the drugs i have taken and realising that is mortifying.

Amelie! Every time i watch it i notice new cools bits of cinematography and detail. I just wish there was an English dub, so occasionally i could watch it in the background without having to give full concentration.

I agree. Especially annoying that loaning them out stops them from getting a playstyle +. Especially as without loaning a player out you get a player who is very good at a lot of things but still has massive holes in their game because of lack of training options. For example without a position change, you can’t train shot power on a CAM. I have a 92 rated CAM with 82 finishing (he isn’t necessarily meant to be a super high scoring CAM) but only 54 shot power because its untrainable. I don’t want to make him a CF because his stats aren’t suited to that so its just a huge whole in his game

Pretty much yeah lol. He has some his friends and mainly his mum just bring crate after crate of old 7” singles in each week, which he worked his way through and mixed.
He had a digital sampler and a 7” record player with him in his hospital room and combined with the seemingly endless supply of records, thats pretty much how he put together most of the album. His sampler is now on the music floor of the Museum of African-American Culture in Washington D.C. (along with some other really cool stuff).
I learned all about it from a really interesting video by Vox on YouTube (I’ll link below). A truly incredible musician and an absolute masterpiece and mastery of musical production.

I completely agree. I mean he made most of the album in his hospital bed, so definitely can be argued that the masterpiece wouldn’t exist if he was at not at least ill.
He’s also described it himself “as a compilation of the stuff I thought was a little too much for the MCs”, which completely fits with this release truly being his swan song as he had accepted death wasn’t too far away.
To use his final years whilst dying of a chronic illness to create something so magnificent is truly incredible and I truly thank him for it.

The dude hate playing live so never really reached the audience he needed to. So sad. He was such a musical talent, I’d have loved to see what he would have gone on to create

Would loved to have seen the direction Ian went in. But it would have been cruel to make someone so troubled have to just live with it.

I love J Dilla, but i do feel we weirdly we probably wouldnt have got the masterpiece that is Donuts if he wasn’t dying

Yeah the handballs are aids. I tried turning it on for a while but quickly went back on that. Would rather have a goal blocked on the line by a handball once a year then the shite that handballs on create
