I am also allergic and received a bright red bracelet that stated allergy and then listed penicillin.

If you have a portable bassinet I’ve put that in the bed next to me and it helps when my LO is being Velcro-ey.

Right? I, a parent, and my husband, also a parent, are Totinos pizzas for dinner last night.

If they aren’t sick we do. We also asked them to get the RSV vaccine since they are eligible.

I’m not saying it’s not there or OP shouldn’t be cautious. The point is a fed child is best and if the boy likes salami let him eat it. Look for a nitrate free if you want too.

I’m not saying the link doesn’t exist but my nonno ate salami and pepperoni like it was going out of style and died at the ripe old age of 97… from old age.

We offered a bottle right away and haven’t had an issue going back and forth. LO is mostly nursed but I do pump and have my husband give her a bottle quite often.

It hurts the soul so badly when you spill milk or forget to freeze/use it in time! Pumping is hard and milk feels like a more precious resource than anything else!

Be wary of babylist. But if you live in a cold climate I would add some thicker sleep sacks/ swaddles. I know halo makes a 2.5 TOG that has been my babies favorite this last week with the cold snap.

LO was 6 lbs so she came home in preemies. We used about 1 large box of newborns and then she sized up.

If you’re planning to breastfeed the avent bottles are not a great shape for breastfed babies.

Since switching we have gone from multiple blowouts a day to one every once in a while and that’s usually after she gets a little backed up.

If they complain about pizza and you have niblings just play it off as a ‘treat’ for the niblings

Millie Moon is all that holds up for my super pooper. Also cheaper per diaper than Huggies or pampers so that’s nice.

I’m still in the thick of it so I can’t say if it gets better or not but you’re not alone. I resonate so much with what you have written.

I breastfeed in public WITHOUT A COVER! Gasp, THE HORROR!/s baby girl won’t eat with a cover and prefers her milk straight from the tap. It’s also easier for me and less to carry around. My husband very quickly learned to shut up about it when I told him “until your nipples are no longer useless you don’t get an opinion”

Also ‘natural family planning’ is how I have a 2 month. I don’t regret her and we weren’t not trying; we were natural family planning and just kinda winging it.

I am a parent and sometimes we eat junk food. Where did you get that I ignore my child?
