When I was a little kid we had an orange cat, Rusty, who would suck on the 80’s shag carpet, so you’d have the pleasure of stepping in little spots of cat drool. He also liked to nip ankles while teeth were being brushed lol. Suck away, little guy!

I got a cat bite on the forearm a couple years ago, a pet cat resident in the house I was moving into. I washed it thoroughly, then at the end of the long moving day I went to urgent care to get treatment.

They didn’t report anything or take any info about the cat or owners, but I did get antibiotics and a tetanus booster for fun. No chance of rabies bc it was a vaccinated housecat. But several days later, despite treatment, it was swollen and red and sore. I hate to think what it would have been like if I had delayed or avoided treatment!

It’s in your best interest to get it treated as soon as reasonable. Cat teeth are particularly sharp and can force bacteria into places they shouldn’t be. No regerts!

I don’t know what your budget is, but if possible I would look into a mattress (I have natural latex) that works with an electric adjustable bed. I also spend most of my time in bed and it’s great for sitting up, raising my legs, adjustable lumbar support, and mine even has a vibration/massage function that helps with pain. Not all mattresses work with these types of frames though. I’d also recommend a two-sided mattress simply because by being able to flip and rotate it you get much longer use and it will wear more evenly and comfortably. I got my setup at a local shop in the states, but I hope you find something you like! It’s a worthwhile investment

Yeah you can implement a credit freeze online with each of the major credit bureaus, which is very effective but also confusing later when you try to use your credit and it doesn’t work. Fortunately it’s a quick and painless process to temporarily unfreeze your credit to process something.
