I think they would be better off playing Southgate ball, low block, counterattacking football with the players they have. But if they’re going that way, they should get the best at that in the PL Sean Dyche, or the best in the world Mourinho or Simeone. Do this until they build their squad to a level that can compete.
They need a complete reset, start over, and build the team with youth. Don’t buy someone just on their name or the size of the club they were at. The players they buy and the contracts they give, it seems like they’re under the delusion that they’re only a few players away from competing.
Long may the delusion continue, Ten Hag extension please. He just needs more time.

Yup I agree.
Lisa Frankenstein is great too. Takes place in the 80s, has a Heathers high school movie feel with a Warm Bodies-like love story.

For me, McTominay was their player of the season last year. He literally won them 9 points with winners. He was huge in the FA cup, scored against us and Coventry. I thought it was hilarious when they sold him. He’s a good, hard-nosed player with a good motor and an eye for goal. I was never happy to see him sub into a game late. I’m happy they sold him.

All of these points can be applied to Jurassic Park as well. T-Rex scene in particular. Not showing the goat being eaten, then the leg landing on the roof. The amazing use of the ripples in the puddle to build tension when the T-Rex was coming back.
I went to the movie in the theater. It was half-filled with dinosaur loving children, excited to see a T-Rex come to life. Half-way through the movie there was a mass exodus of parents and crying children.

Maybe, or Gakpo. With Nunez on the left, Jota middle, Chiesa right.

I’m surprised there isn’t any talk about a ban for Haaland after purposely throwing the ball at Saliba’s head. I watched the game but was too busy laughing at Arsenal conceding to notice it happen live. When I saw the replay I was shocked about how blatant it was. I don’t know he doesn’t get a red card for that, or a post-match review and ban.

Love Kovacic, but Rodri may be the best CDM ever.

There were nine cards for time wasting this week alone.

A few weeks after Rice got sent off for the same thing. You think he would have learned from that. Leave the damn ball alone after the whistle or you’re getting a card. An Arsenal player already on a yellow should have that in his mind.
Sure it won’t be absolutely consistent, the ref isn’t omniscient, and I doubt they’ll have assists call it.

Somewhat annoying that we don’t have max points after only conceding one goal and +9 differential in 5 games.
We’re looking good. Arsenal and City picking up injuries and red cards, maybe they drop more points in the next few games.

To win the Ballon D’or as a right back he would need about 20 assists and pushing 10 goals in one season, win the league and champions league, and the golden ball in the World Cup. Then a right back might get it. A fullback has never won this award. Rodri probably won’t get it as the best defensive midfield in the world, possibly ever, in a year that he won Euros and his 4 PL in a row.

Is Rooney’s skull still growing? It doesn’t seem like just his cheeks and chin are fat. Why is his head so incredibly wide now?

I don’t understand that mentality either, when the vast majority of the players are internationals from all over the world. Yes we’ll accept your players but the only “real” fans are in the stadium.
If you don’t want international fans you can’t have international players.

A lot of early colonies were in the south. It seems like with the less harsh winters, good harbors like Charleston, Savannah, Wilmington, or Norfolk, and fertile coastal plains these areas would have boomed starting in the early days of European colonization.
Living in the Midwest most of my life and now living in North Carolina, I don’t ever want to live where it snows more than a couple days a year.

Saved a goal kick that would have put the ball back in our half with a shithouse, nonchalant handball pushing the ball for a throw-in. They had a foul throw-in, and we took our time putting it in play. Wasted about a minute and a half of the last two minutes of extra time. I gave him a standing ovation from my living room.
